"The price of $45 for this brunch was disappointing. It wasn't worth it. The eggs seemed to have been in the tray for too long, because they were hard-throwed. The gumbo was not seasoned and looked like broth soup. Chicken cabobs were hard as well as the Parmesan . The fruit was simple. The drinks were irrigated from the bar. The tiny baby shrimps in the grains were sad. The greens had no taste at all. I've been there for dinner and hyped this place up to my friends and was disappointed. Why would you only force this buffet and have no regular menu available. $75 was my sum for a basic buffet and watered alcoholic drinks. Very disappointed. It was blazing."

Restaurant was nice and had a nice ambiance. The food was average but the service was seriously lacking. They need to up their game to stay competitive in the Houston market.

Everything thing was great until the boudin balls. Center was cold but they brought out the gumbo which was very hot and very good. I’ll go again. The rest of the food was excellent.

Sunday brunch is not worth $45 a person. There was no pastries or desserts as the website advertises in pictures and there should be way more food for that price. They also do not advertise the price on their website. View menu

This was our first time eating there. The pictures on their website convinced us to go there. The food was not as expected for the price. The brunch buffet was very lacking in flavor. My friends and I agreed that it would be our only time eating there.

I really enjoyed the atmosphere of this restaurant! The interior design is amazing, and the food was delicious too! The staff was friendly and chatted with us before we headed to the Astros game. We tried the raw gulf coast oysters, which were very tasty, and the gumbo was also fantastic!

Our party of 8 had a reservation for outdoor seating due to one member being immunocompromised. Upon arrival, we found the restaurant empty and had to wait for our table to be prepared. Despite this, the food was outstanding and our young server, although new, did a great job attending to us. The highlight was definitely the delicious food. I will definitely be coming back! I already sent two reviews. SHORT/SIMPLE: We 're still in a Pandemic . Each dish served with one utensil everyone uses. Parents letting their children run around the table with the cooking utensils, thinking that 's cute. There was a quiet ambience than the noise level raise as if their favorite team scored. Talking and screaming at 8 optic. The quality of the food wasn 't worth the admission. At first, walking into this establishment, I smiled and thought this was a great place I chose, not only for a Sunday brunch but also to take my lovely wife on a date. I 'm embarrassed.

My partner and I had a fantastic date night at this restaurant on a Friday evening. The staff, from the hostess to our waiter Jeremiah, to the chef who offered us bottled water while chatting on the patio after closing, provided excellent service. The drinks were delicious and the food was seasoned and spiced perfectly to our liking. We ordered the Fleur de Lis, Froze, Love of My Light, Woodford Reserve, Redfish Ponchartrain, and Creole Blackened Chicken. While there was no live band that evening, the music was at a decent level, allowing for easy conversation without having to raise our voices. The dim lighting created a romantic ambience.

"Food good. Location good. Service good. BUT, the hidden charges REALLY ruined an otherwise nice experience. Example: HH menu lists Martinis as a $3 upcharge to the $7 base charge. Fair enough. Bombay is a listed alcohol; requested. When the bill was returned I was charged for a Bombay Sapphire which is not on the HH list. Charge? $11 $3. I asked for Bombay, not Bombay Sapphire. Waiter: Oh, let me look into that. AND, by the way Blue Cheese olives? Extra $1. REALLY? I 've NEVER paid extra for BC olives ANYWHERE. AND the confusing menus that a dish as including an extra sauce, [and I don 't recall the exact language but it made it seem that an additional items could be selected as well. Oops, there goes an extra $10.95. AND, the waiter recommending a twice-baked potato. Bah, boom, another $5.95. [which in fairness is disclosed on the menu in a different location, but waiter made it sound as if it was a no-charge option on the surf and turf. AND the split plate charge which I don 't think was disclosed on the menu. Ding, ding, extra $3.00. Was this a waiter, who was overly up-selling or restaurant deception? Don 't know. As I said, the food WAS good. AND, the ambience [at least in the bar area, stay away of the hotel-ballroom-like main dining area was nice. Just beware the nickel and dime charges that the waiter won 't be disclosing to you."
