"I really wanted to like this place. The atmosphere is lovely, and the baked goods are excellent. The coffee is fairly good, but we bought two bags of beans to brew at home and were disappointed. They didn't seem fully roasted and lacked a strong coffee aroma. We returned the beans, thinking there might have been a mix-up and hoping for a replacement, but the owner was quite difficult about it. He simply tossed the beans into the grinder for use in the café! He did give us one bag of a darker roast in exchange for the two we had purchased, but it didn’t make much of a difference. Due to the poor customer service and inconsistent quality of their roasting, we’ve decided not to return."
