"I couldn't wait to get home and post this review! I was hosting a get together with people from several states. Blue Moon was recommended from one of our Colorado members who told me to make a reservation-we expected 20 people. So I called a week in advance and spoke to the owner who was magnificent over the telephone. I explained that we expected 20 but that was an approximate. She assured that they had room for us and couldn't wait for us to visit. We arrived on time and the staff was already expecting us. My first impression from the parking lot was-this looks like a nice place. Once I got inside-really looks like a nice place. The staff ushered us into a private area to the right of the front door. Since many of us hadn't seen each other in weeks/months-or even meeting for the first time-we spent a bit of time chatting and getting to know each other. Once we settled down our waitress, Claudette, immediately gave us her attention. Our total group count was 15 people-this is important later. Since this was breakfast, Claudette came in with a tray of coffee including creams and various sweetners. A few guests had other drink orders which Claudette provided immediately. The group all placed our orders-I ordered two eggs over medium, canadian bacon, hash browns and a side or grits. My order also included toast so I opted for rye. We continued to chat and enjoy our coffees, hot chocolates and water and within ten minutes-I kid you not-the orders began arriving. Everyone's orders were exactly as placed and soon the chatter became silent-the food was delicious-who had time to chat! Claudette asked me to repeat my toast order and I honestly told her-please DON'T bring it! I have too much already. She apologized immensely but I hate throwing food away and did I really need more carbs?? My grits were delicious. The Canadian bacon also-it was sliced really thin which I really enjoyed. 15 meals-all as ordered-in a short amount of time. Thank you Blue Moon Diner for taking care of us-especially Claudette! She was amazing. We WILL be back."
