"I don't usually leave reviews one way or the other, but this needed to be said. I've been to Blue Moon and Weston Diner many times. Generally good visits for breakfast., but the other day not so much so. The friend that I was with, ordered an omelet and also the bison burger. I ordered the country fried steak and eggs. My buddy got both of his orders, and we waited on mine. About 15 min later I got the attention of the server and she admitted she forgot to put my order in. NP just go ahead and put my order in. While waiting on my order my buddy started on his. While he enjoyed the omelet, the bison was not too his liking. We asked the server if she could replace it with a regular burger, she said she would have to check. A few moments later another server(supervisor? comes over and abruptly demands to know why he didn't like his meal. He explains that it's not to his liking. So at the end..... no replacement, no adjustment on the check for the burger or my meal that was not put in and was 30 late. Not happy not great customer service.... most likely not returning. The second star is for the first server... she was very apologetic and sincerely sorry for her mistake."

We tried going there for breakfast a few times, but they were always closed! There were no signs or anything to indicate this. Additionally, I wasn't a fan of the new interior design either.

The new owners have recently renovated the restaurant, and it looks so much better than before. I tried the bison burger, and it was delicious, especially paired with the fries. Their Bloody Marys are also quite good. I would definitely recommend this place! View menu

I would rate this place a zero if I could. I've visited three times on Sunday at 8:30 AM, and it's always been closed. The website states it's open, and the door even says it's open. We used to come here regularly, but after moving to Fort Lauderdale, we drove all the way here for breakfast. We won’t be returning.

This has always been our favorite spot. The food was good previously, but it has only improved with the new owners. While it's true that prices have increased a little, it feels justified given the higher quality of the dishes. I'm really sad to see that it's temporarily closed. I hope everything is okay. When can we expect it to reopen? Service: Dine-in.

However, when the check arrived, we were shocked by the bill. We were charged $15.50 each for the sandwiches. I mentioned to our waitress, Amanda, that the sandwiches seemed quite expensive, and she explained that this was how she had been instructed to ring them up. She did apologize, but it left us with a really bad feeling. The lesson here is to always ask about the price when ordering something that isn’t on the menu. It will definitely be a long time before we consider going back. View menu

A BIG RIP OFF. Learned a costly lesson going to the Blue Moon Diner. We ordered something that was not on the menu. We ordered two tuna wraps. Wraps were nicely presented and delicious. It had cheese and cut up bacon, which we did not ask for but that's fine. Came with fries, that was fine also. Came time for the check and when it was put down we had sticker shock. We were charged $15.50 each. I did say something to the waitress Amanda about it being very costly sandwiches and she said that is how she was told to ring it up. She apologized. It just left us with a very bad taste in our mouths. So the lesson is if you order something that they have but not on the menu, find out what the charge...

Then, this new management took over and completely stripped the place of its charm! When I first heard they painted those lovely Chicago bricks white, I couldn't bring myself to step foot inside again. It was truly heartbreaking. Now, the restaurant looks cold, institutional, and generic—it's a total tragedy. What has been done to this once beautiful space is appalling and thoughtless. The service and the food were both disappointing, and it seemed like your priorities only included your own interests, not those of the community. We are relieved that you're gone, though it should have happened sooner. The damage has been done. Rest in peace, Blue Moon. Thank you for all the wonderful memor...

"I only do reviews about twice a year and like to be as honest as possible. I visited last year and had excellent service on a Friday night when I sat at the bar with a friend. I went last night for early Valentine’s dinner. When we arrived there was only 1 guest at the bar and a table of 4 men dining. We had a 5:15pm reservation. It took at least 3 minutes for someone to acknowledge us. The staff was setting the restaurant up for dinner. We were seated in a table and there were bread crumbs on the seat. Our server must be new as he was unable to answer any of our questions. We started with two smoked old fashioneds (perfect! . The menu we had was different than what was online. I guess they were featuring a limited Valentines menu in the restaurant. The server finally brought us fresh warmly Baked mini baguettes which were delish! We first shared the rib appetizer (also wonderful— cooked til tender and seasoned well and sauced perfectly . For our entrees, my boyfriend got a 6oz filet that looked like a single medallion and it came with a single piece of broccoli and two smaller whole carrots. He paid extra for Wolf steak sauce which was lacking any flavor at all. I got the grilled chicken and received two large chicken breasts, yummy mashed potatoes but not the crispy style I had on my first visit, and the same vegetables except my servings were almost double in size. Our bill was $169 before gratuity. I didn’t find the quality of food and customer service to be aligned with the cost. Comsidering we were 1 of 3 tables dining and the restaurant was slow, I would have expected better service and higher quality like I received on my first visit there when I met Mr Wolf at the bar and had a lovely evening with my friend who was Visiting from the Bahamas. For the cost, we could have dined at Capital Grille and received the premium level of service and nearly perfect food quality. I was disappointed because it was a special Valentine’s date and I made the recommendation"

"Came by for dinner on a Tuesday night with my husband and two kids. We were the only people at the restaurant, it was about 7:40ish. We order the Jalea and whole chicken meal with rice and fries. The service was quick initially, The food came out within good timing. However the food was terrible, for a Peruvian restaurant the Jalea was bland and lacked even salt. I had a couple calamari pieces that were fishy and rubbery. I asked the server for a sauce or hot sauce to dip the fried seafood in to help digest it. He looked puzzled and then said oh tartar sauce, then I asked for picante which is very common in alll Peruvian cuisine the rotisserie chicken came out nicely cut with white rice and fries. The favors weren 't bad but it was dry and I was eating the leg, and the fries were so sad, they served crinkle fries like the ones you buy from the frozen section at Publix. We don 't live in the area and had come here before when they first open up around 2018ish maybe 2019. I remember the food was tasty and fresh. Back to the dinner, I tried my best to eat the dry, bland flavorless food, I was never offer more water an sat there with an empty cup. I server never came back to check on us despite being his only table. We even had to ask for ketchup for the kids. Overall I paid $74.93 and for the two dishes one inka cola and a lemonade. The food and server lacks quality . The server then came up with his machine to ask how much tip was I leaving!! So I left 18% because it was the lowest of three options. Regardless of bad service I would still tip. Tip was $10.68. There are so many better options for this price point!! Don 't be fooled like we were by the great reviews below, prob from friends and family from the Sir Ceviche brand which actually has good food. But pollos y parrillas is a flop"
