"Food is really good, probably one of the best places around but the owner is a thief, the times I have been there I see the prices on the board and on the menu, he always he rises prices of the food or give us short money in the change, he makes jokes in Spanish to get rid off, when we complain is very sad that he has to do that for a couple of extra dollars, God bless him and make him less greedy, he lost customers for that same reason, in the job site all other coworkers talk about him doing the same thing."

"It's even years since I visited the Mathews La Popeyes because of their service. First time I drove up to the window, no one in front of me, no one come over the intercom. So I blow the horn some one day be with you in a minute. At this point it's going on 10 minutes another 10 because I'm timing it. So I drive to the window and a car leaves the window. Do I ask to place my order the girl at the window say I have to go back in line because someone else was at the window and could not take my order. So I left and haven't gone back until today. Grand kids here so I'll give them a chance. I give my order, can't understand the girl at the window I giver her 51 dollars she says it's 60.54 . So I give her a 20 that naked 71. She gives me back 4 . So I don't argue. I get home and realize they shorted me a large fry and large red beans. So I pack things up and head back there. Tell them what I was shorted. She say drive to the window. Hands me a bag with what I was shorted. I proceed to ask her what about the rest of my order because now it's getting cold. She ask you want fresh chicken and are you willing to wait 20 minutes. I think there not enough chicken for my order. They ask me to pull up. Then 2 cars pull and leave. So I go in say I want my money back. They argue. Asked for fresh chicken, I said I asked for hot chicken. It turned ugly. I left with no chicken and shorted money also. Raceland,La has the worst service and customer satisfaction will never go there again! They don't deserve any stars but that's the lowest I can go."

"I swear this is one of the worst places in town to go to. Every time I go here, I have to wait so long for my food because all the workers wanna do in there is just stand around and chit chat while looking like they would rather be anywhere else but there. My last visit, I went inside because the drive thru looked congested (I'll get to that in a second), and it was busy in the lobby so I knew it was going to take a while. To my surprise though, the lobby seemed to clear out fairly quickly after I ordered. 30 minutes later, I am still in the lobby waiting on my food while people all around me and even those who ordered after me, were getting their food. This one girl cleared all orders off the screen for lobby orders and the workers seemed like they are having a break while they were standing around chit chatting. Finally, I go up to the counter and tell the cashier I'm still waiting. After asking what my order was, she had it ready and boxed up in 2 seconds........like why couldn't you do that sooner? Am I invisible or something? Finally, after what seemed like 2 years, I go out to my car and the parking lot is a disaster. There was car in the pull up area and people in the drive thru could not get around because the people who built Popeyes obviously didn't think that through because there is not enough space for people to get through when in drive thru, no matter what vehicle you have so those poor people are just stuck. Then I see people making their own parking spots while blocking people in without having a single care in the world. There was this one black truck who parking at the entrance of the drive thru and was standing outside her truck talking to what looked like her mom with her whole village of kids, not even caring she was in a non parking spot blocking the drive thru. At one point, she moved to let a car get through, only to get back in the non parking spot, blocking the drive thru again and putting the whole parking lot at a standstill because other cars were trying to get in and out. 10 extra minutes it took me to get out. My advice, while the food may be good (so good at times), be VERY cautious when coming to this restaurant. They workers don't seem to care at all and the customers just park wherever they please and don't give a care in the world how they park or who they inconvenience in the process. They have pissed me all the way off because of this. Food: 4 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2 Recommended dishes: Tenders"

"We stopped here while traveling back home. The young lady working the register was very friendly. We got chicken tenders meals and ate inside the restaurant. The manager seemed stressed out. It was difficult to order because she was in such a rush. I didn't understand because it was very slow when we were there. She definitely has a sense of urgency. The food was quick and good. I was shocked about how expensive it is. We could have gone to a sit down at a full service restaurant for the same or even less money. The dining area was in serious need of a wipe down. There were bits of stuff and chicken crumbs on every sticky table too. Other than that, we enjoyed our meal and got back on the road quickly. I would choose a different place next time though. I don't believe this meal was worth the money. Especially not when I had to clean up the booth for us to eat in.Kid-friendliness: Kids love any chicken nuggets and they are actually good here. It's a casual environment that has plenty of parking. This is a good solution for kids to eat what they want and adults to get good food too. It is more expensive than other fast food.Parking: Plenty of regular and handicapped parking places right outside of the entrance. Well lit parking lot. Easy access to the highway. Convenient location.Wheelchair accessibility: Plenty of handicapped parking places directly beside the sidewalk at the main entrance."

"Had the Chicken Wrap. For the price, quality and quantity this is an easy 5 stars. The service and hospitality were great, all the workers were polite and attentive. Both the spicy and sweet salsas were amazing, those alone made the order worth it. Recommended for workers on their lunch break when they want something fast, cheap and well made. But also for tourist on a budget."

"Before I provide a low review, I want to acknowledge the hard work and challenges faced by individuals in the fast food industry. It is undoubtedly a demanding field. However, it is essential to note that this should not be an excuse for delivering substandard service. Unfortunately, every time I visit this location, the service seems to be consistently slow. The presence of numerous hiring signs suggests a lack of sufficient employees, which ultimately affects the efficiency of the business. Even when I place my orders online, it still takes a long time to receive my order, often at least half an hour. I also experienced the frustration of applying to work at this location and being given the runaround. Given the opportunity, I could have been a valuable asset to the team."

"I was disappointed with the ordering process at this restaurant. They only allow orders to be placed through kiosks, which is frustrating. I tried about five different kiosks, but whenever I selected 'Sandwich,' all I got was a blank screen. Initially, I thought the kiosks were slow or malfunctioning, rather than realizing that sandwiches weren't even available. I mentioned the issue to the staff member who was handing out orders, but they just shrugged and walked away. After attempting three more kiosks, I finally spoke to someone else who clarified that they weren't serving sandwiches. It seems like the kiosk interface could definitely be improved, or at the very least, a simple paper sign could inform customers about menu changes."
