"Recently, we found ourselves on another business trip, this time in Erie, PA, where we stayed at the Bayfront Marriott. Instead of dining at one of the many popular restaurants near the hotel, we decided to order takeout from Donatos. Although I could have placed my order online, I opted to call to ensure I got exactly the pizza we loved.
There were several Donatos locations in Erie, and the closest one was just two miles away. When I called, a very cheerful gentleman answered. I shared my excitement about discovering Donato's in Erie, as it had been nearly two years since I last enjoyed the Hot Chicken Pizza. He was incredibly helpful and reassured me that there had been no changes to the pizza recipe. His friendliness was evident as he promised to ensure my order was extra perfect! That level of customer service truly deserves five stars!
When my husband returned to the hotel with the pizza, it was just as delicious and perfectly made as we remembered from two years ago! We live about an hour and a half south of Erie, and we're more than willing to make the trip again soon to enjoy Donato's incredible offerings. While we absolutely love the Hot Chicken Pickle Pizza, we're also tempted to try some of their other pizzas. Yum!"
