"The Kempton Hotel Restaurant was a completely awesome experience! The small town atmosphere of the restaurant and bar was really cool and we are already planning a trip back to Kempton for the 150 year celebration. Once we ordered our food in the restaurant, we walked through the bar area to look at the painted mural on the ceiling. Local and American history scenes cover the entire ceiling. After chatting with a couple of the locals, we sat down and ate our meal. Really loved the cheese fries with cheddar and bacon. Also enjoyed the pork and sauerkraut, a Pennsylvania Dutch favorite. Exceptional food for a great price. Our waitress was professional, friendly and told us a little about the history of the hotel. What a great place just a short drive from Kutztown University."
