"Our waitress arrived promptly to take our drink orders. I did notice that the menu had been downsized since my last visit, but we still managed to find a couple of dishes we both wanted to try. Using the coupon for the queso was no problem, and it was very tasty; however, we had to ask for extra chips to enjoy alongside it and the complimentary salsa we shared.
I ordered the Taco Salad with fajita meat ($11.29), and while it was a generous portion, it was packed into a small bowl, making it a bit tricky to mix and enjoy. I would have preferred a larger bowl for a more satisfying experience. I opted for the Cilantro dressing, which was quite good. My dining companion had the Taco/Enchilada plate ($10.59), which included rice, beans, one enchilada, and one crispy taco. This dish was also enjoyable and offered a decent portion. However, no tortillas were initially served with it, so we needed to request those separately.
There was a slight wait for our food, which was fine since we were able to savor the chips and queso. Once our meals arrived, our waitress became less attentive, and we had to ask for a tea refill and more chips. She was polite, but it would have been nice if she had checked in with us more frequently after we received our food. The atmosphere was a bit noisy, but overall, it was a good choice for lunch."
