"I’ve been coming to Denny’s on Buck Rd in Rossford for literally as long as I can remember. The service has always been great and the food… for what you’d expect at a diner like Denny’s… is typically pretty good. We went in tonight, there were maybe 2 other tables in the restaurant. It’s 11pm on the dot when we arrive. The server tells us to pick a table and she’ll be right with us. 40 minutes later we’re waiting for this server to come take our drink order, bring us menus, etc. We know there’s an issue everywhere with staffing right now so we’re not too concerned because sometimes things happen. She comes to get our drink order finally, drops off menus, brings back our drinks, and disappears again. She keeps going to the back. Finally about 10 minutes later she comes back and takes our order. I ordered chicken fried chicken with roasted red potatoes and corn with a side of ranch and my sister ordered nachos with extra cheese sauce and sour cream. We waited an additional 40 minutes for that to come out. Her nachos were soggy and the cheese appeared to be brown in color, the pico de gallo was fajita style veggies instead… and mine was cold. Just all of it. Server also only brought ranch for the nachos and doesn’t come back to check on us, we can’t get her attention because she’s so focused on talking to the other table about how inexperienced the grill cook is… So she eats what she can stomach, I eat what I can, by the end of it all, we had been there for 2 hours. We left at 1am. Just don’t go. Save yourself the time, if you need something in that area just go to the McDonald’s next door."

"I visited the restaurant and seated myself before placing my order. Unfortunately, my experience with the waitress, Britney, was very disappointing. She rushed off every time I needed assistance, and I eventually had to go to the counter to get my own food because she completely ignored me. To make matters worse, my order was incorrect, and the food was cold and sloppily prepared. The service and the quality of the food are both lacking. I recommend that the restaurant improves its staff; otherwise, they risk losing their customers."

"When it finally did, my son's omelette was incorrect, and while it was being remade, my two eggs sat under a heater and got cold. Unfortunately, they still brought them to me, so I had to send them back. The second attempt at my eggs resulted in them being fried until they were rock-hard. I informed the waitress that I wouldn’t eat them and refused to pay for them as well. Instead of taking accountability, she went to talk to the manager. He didn't come over to apologize or try to rectify the situation; instead, he instructed her to take all the food away and present me with my son’s bill. To make matters worse, when I went to the register to pay and waited for him to address the issue—considering it was off-peak hours, so the place wasn’t busy—he had the nerve to ask if our meal was okay and if I wanted to leave a tip on the receipt. Seriously? This manager was completely unqualified for his position, and it's clear that a better establishment would never have hired him. It leads me to the conclusion that Denny's is a subpar restaurant. Save yourself the trouble and either opt for Cracker Barrel or just cook at home."

"My family and I have visited this restaurant several times before, and usually we have had a pleasant experience with good service. Unfortunately, our recent visit was a disappointment. We were greeted promptly and seated, but then waited 10 minutes for a server to come take our drink orders. The server did not introduce themselves or wear a name tag, so I cannot provide their name. After taking our drink order, they brought our drinks but never returned to take our food order. We waited 30 minutes with no attention from the server, who appeared more interested in socializing with colleagues. Frustrated, we decided to leave and found the server chatting with a friend at the front counter. This lack of attention and professionalism was unacceptable, especially considering there were only a few tables occupied and multiple servers on duty. As someone who has worked in the restaurant industry, I was disappointed and will not be returning to this establishment."

"There are good Denny's and then there are exceptional Denny's. This one definitely falls into the latter category! My waitress, Amy, was delightful and had great answers to all my questions about the menu. She recommended the new Lasagna, and I decided to give it a try. I was a bit hesitant since I really miss the Brooklyn spaghetti they removed from the menu, but I was pleasantly surprised by the lasagna. Not only did it taste great, but it was also wonderfully prepared. The edges were perfectly crunchy, filled with layers of cheese, meat, and savory sauce. It had a nice hint of sweetness and the baked Parmesan was just right. Amy mentioned that this is a trial dish, and I really hope they decide to keep it. The restaurant itself was clean and inviting, and the staff made everyone feel welcome, whether they were regulars or newcomers. A big thank you to Amy, the management, and the entire crew! This is truly a fantastic Denny's!"

"On Friday, March 22, 2024, my dad and I enjoyed a fantastic meal, but unfortunately, things took a turn for the worse. I was mistakenly charged for someone else's meal! When I contacted the night manager, Bryan, he was very professional and assured me that I would receive a refund the following day, along with a call. However, when I spoke to another manager named Hope, she informed me that it would be impossible to process the refund. Since then, no one from the restaurant has reached out to me except for Bryan Arnold. This experience has left me disappointed with their customer service."
