"In town to visit our college student he brought us to Los Arcoiris. Chips, salsa, and a margarita are always my favorite and Los Arcoiris got all three right!! The person behind the bar definitely knows what he/she is doing. My margarita 's on the rocks were so smooth. I always order Patrón in my 'rita. After my first, the waiter suggested a different tequila for the next. Another great drink for sure. The presentation of food was great. My steak was cooked as ordered and very tender. Great flavor and fresh. The Customer Service is fantastic! Overall, a great dining experience."

"Stopped here for lunch as I had to try a local Chicago hot dog This place was extremely popular as the queue was looong! I ordered the standard Chicago Style All Beef Vienna Now as hot dogs go…I was underwhelmed, more so for the price But hey, it filled a lunch time spot without making me feel bloated I like the decor and set up, but would I return….been there, no need for a repeat visit I simply have different culinary expectations"

"My family and I absolutely love this restaurant! Whenever we're in the mood for Mexican food, it’s our go-to place (except on Cinco de Mayo—avoid it then if you want quick service). On a typical day or night, we always receive prompt service and enjoy tasty food. While it might not be the best Mexican cuisine you’ll ever taste, it is still very good. Set your expectations to moderate, and you won’t be let down. I can order a 32 oz beer, and by the time I'm halfway through, the food is already coming out. We usually arrive with our toddler at 5:30, and we know we won’t be here past 8:00. The staff has always been friendly and accommodating."

"We had to wait quite a while for our food, and while we were still waiting, other customers who arrived after us received their meals. There were three of us, and only one of us got our food at the same time as the other table. Additionally, we were charged 25 cents just to place a to-go order, and when we requested a cheese substitution, they charged us for cheese dip instead. On a positive note, our waitress was very friendly and apologized for the delay, but we felt it was unfair to be charged for the extra cheese dip that we didn’t actually receive."

"We've been living in the area for a few years now, and always pass this place on the way in and out of town. Today we were on our way back from hiking the Hawksbill trail and finally got the opportunity to stop for lunch. This the absolute best Mexican food I've had in a very, very long time. Some chips and salsa, a couple beers, and chimichangas were the perfect end to our afternoon. So glad we stopped, and will be coming back, as this is our new Mexican restaurant spot. "Busy. Bustling, breakfast, black coffee and busy. Food was good and the coffee better but the oatmeal ran out and nobody let us know. For a place that busy, one unisex restroom wasn’t enough. The location was great though and the staff was doing their best considering the crowds. I think my favorite thing was the outside seating on a perfect fall morning."

"Last Saturday night my wife and I had door fittings delivery 2 dinner combinations my 1beef burrito 1 beef enchilada with rice and beans. Hers 1 beef Burrito 1 cheese Enchilada with rice and beans. Combinations were perfect? but it went out of rails when the chips were missing salsa and who eats chips and no salsa? 2. Desaster was the reason why we ordered Mexican food, was the dessert that my wife is roasted ice that she got a kind of sopipea, and I ordered flan and got the same weird sopipea so that we called her and stopped her and they never came back 14 minuets that I had just waited until I had to call back and ask again for 5 minutes, then they put me. So if you want to order, do you not take a dessert from here or call and complain, or you will hear a magical hour stop Mexican music? ole....???"

"I am literally writing this review while sitting in the restaurant. The food was decent minus a few things we asked for that we didn 't get. However, please note, if you are interested in having a PEACEFUL dinner with your family and friends do NOT come Saturday night. It 's karaoke night and while I enjoy karaoke as much as the next person I also enjoy being able to talk to the people at my table. The music is obnoxiously LOUD and when I explained that it was too loud to staff all they did is move us to a table at the back of this small dining room which did NOT help. There are other patrons who are also displeased with the volume but it doesn 't seem to phase the staff. This has by far been the WORST experience I have had at this restaurant and I am very disappointed that for the amount of money spent I could not enjoy my decent food or talk to my company at the table."
