"Loved Chuy's!We were coming home from a week long winter vacation. We stumbled on Chuy's and actually didn't even know we were there! It was NYE and we just got in to Atlanta after driving all day. We looked at Google Maps for restaurants and saw On the Border which we are big fans of. We went there but there was no hostess to be found a quite a few people waiting. We left and decided to go to the Chevy's down the road which we are also big fans of.Turns out none of us can read cursive writing and Chevy's was actually Chuy's which is a chain I had never heard of. We didn't realize we were in Chuy's until we ordered our food and noticed it on the menu. No wonder I didn't recognize the logo or insanely colorful dining area. I felt like a kid entering Willy Wonka's factory for the first time when we opened the door. And we were happy to see a hostess waiting at the counter.Our server was Jeff and he was pretty great! We had ordered fajita's for two but vegan style (no meat, cheese or sour cream). He was nice and doubled checked if the rice and beans were vegan. At this point I still thought I was at Chevy's and was surprised they didn't have black beans. Once we realized we were at Chuy's I Googled it and found the rice and beans were indeed vegan (I should have just trusted Jeff and the kitchen). Which, I got to say, big thanks to Chuy's for not ruining rice and beans with chicken stock and lard!My youngest son ordered a couple of chicken tacos and my oldest had a big plate of nachos. Our fajita's for two was very generously sized and really, really delicious. The house made flour tortillas were killer! I actually have a tortilla press at home I've never used (Santa left it last Christmas over a year ago). I'm going to get that thing out and make my own flour tortillas now. They were so freaking good!We almost didn't end up here and when we did walk in the doors we didn't realize it was something different. On the Border and Chevy's are great but I think Chuy's might be better! Thanks to Jeff and everyone else working NYE. After a long day of travel it was a nice surprise to have what was my favorite meal of the whole trip. I will definitely keep my eye out for Chuy's when we travel. Thanks!"

"This restaurant offers a truly chaotic experience—it's reminiscent of a madhouse or a circus—even with only half the tables filled. The servers dash around like they're at a bustling train station, more focused on their own hurried pace than on ensuring diners have an enjoyable experience. It's certainly not the right place for a cozy dinner; having a conversation felt nearly impossible. And as for the ambiance? It's laughable! The chip salsa was excessively spicy, with no alternative options offered. On the plus side, the sauces for the burrito and enchilada were quite flavorful. Unfortunately, the chopped chicken was so dry that it was almost inedible. I certainly won’t be coming back!"

"Nachos Man is back at it! I've heard good things about this place, so we decided to try it. Why have Nachos when they serve Panchos, right? First things first. The salsa is really good. The problem is that you can literally see through their chips.They break without even budging the salsa, so you need to find a strong chip and use that one to shovel salsa onto your chips.The ranch dip is also really good. Mixed in with the salsa and it is perfect! The Panchos are interesting. The chips are againa problem. While thicker than the ones for the salsa, they still are not strong enough to hold what they put on it. And the chipshatters when you take a bite, so these ultimately turn into a taco salad. I'm not a huge fan of refried beans on the nachoseither. That was mostly all I could taste. The chips had good flavor too, but the rest of it got overpowered by the amount ofrefried beans. Definitely not a flavor party. Out of the different Nachos I've had, these were a solid 5/10. Not the best, butnot the worst either. Jen got the fajitas, as usual when we try something new. These were more of a hit than the Panchos, butthey were definitely missing something. The steak arrived sizzling on a bed of onions, but that was it for that plate. Who makesfajitas without green and/or red peppers? There was one small sliver of a red pepper, but that was it. Not sure what was goingon there. The waitress was having an off night or was new, but I can't hold that against Chuy's. Everybody is new at somepoint and it was later on a Saturday night, so maybe it had just been a long shift. So other than weak chips, a little heavy onthe refried beans, and a noticeable absence of peppers on the fajitas, it was a good experience. I would probably try them againto see if this was just an isolated experience with new staff or if this is just how it is before I got too critical. I leftfull and nothing we ate disagreed with us later, so all in all it is worth 4 stars."

"oh yes! here is the bomb! Now, for this particular location, note that the parking is tight. And when I say you, I mean to drive in new york city. but if they face this challenge, the restaurant is embedded among some of the most spiritual and hip shops in the city. let's talk about eating. if they are a Tex Mexican fan, it will definitely not disappoint. it comes from pipping hot, and the spicing is perfect. I suggest the huh chimichumga with a dripping hot cheese. oh my god, it's absolutely amazing! this is definitiw a must stop at place if they have never visited before, or a good place to try different food types."

"I have been frequenting this restaurant for several years and I have always been impressed by the excellent staff, delicious food, and decent drinks. "absolutely horrible service. I had called 3 weeks before the time that we came a party of about 20 on May 21 when a going away for a friend came together. we didn't need a party room, just a territory we could all sit together and eat. the manager told me that I heard by e-mail dfw [email protected], which I heard on May 11th and again on May 16th, and never again from anyone. I then called on May 21 at 2 a.m. and asked if it was still in order that we would come at 17.30 a.m., as I never heard of the catering department again and was told that it was good. I spoke to the manager who was absolutely useless and had no interest in helping us. When I told her what happened to the catering department, she said she'd look at it. When I told her I called on May 11 and spoke to the manager about our party size, she denied talking to me. but she is the only female manager! it was just a month now, no one called or reacted. I don't know where you are. they do not care about their customers at all and their management does not take responsibility for their complete ineptitude."

"Worst experience I 've ever had at a restaurant, I ordered the Chicken Deluxe enchilada and was not warned on how disgusting the food was going to be. I complained to our waiter after about how awful the food was after 2 bites, (I made the whole table try the sauce on the enchilada, everyone agreed it was horrendous) our waiter Demarcus then says Oh, I thought you would 've known. I would 've warned you if I knew you haven 't been here. The meal was still kept on the bill even though it was basically inedible. Currently writing this from the restroom from how badly it has settled in my stomach. Never coming here again after the horrible service and food."

"11/30/22 This was my second time at Chuy 's, and it was INCREDIBLE! Our waiter, Jason, was ABSOLUTELY TOP NOTCH: Sharp, attentive, friendly, and prompt (without hovering . While my friend ordered the nachos, I went for a chicken and beef fajitacombo. While we awaited our meal, we settled into freshly made tortilla chips and was treated to some of the best salsas I 'veEVER had. The salsa verde reminded me of the exquisite flavors I had enjoyed many years ago in Guadalajara, San Luis Potosi,Celaya, and Mexico City: fresh, crisp flavors with just enough spicy heat to make it interesting without being unpleasant. Thenthere was the Jalapeño Ranch OMG! Words fail me to describe how incredible it was. When the meal came, both my friend and Icommented on the sizable portions and, indeed, I ended up getting quite full and STILL took over half of it home! The meats weredone to perfection, the fajita toppings were fresh and delicious, and the entire meal was such a wonderful experience. Thefacility itself was VERY clean, the decor nice (1950 's cafe stye , the music at low wnough to be enjoyed without makingconversation difficult The prices at Chuy 's were VERY respectable, especially given the size of the portions. The service wastop notch, and the manager Jason (the OTHER Jason! was friendly, respectful, and very pleased to hear the positivefeedback. VERDICT: OUTSTADING! *HIGHLY* RECOMMENDED. "Great Tex-Mex food. Seasoned well and the portions are huge. Can definitely share a plate if you are watching how much you consume. Food came out really fast and it was all hot for a table of 10. The entire team worked together and the camaraderie was like a well oiled machine. Great job. Would recommend and will be back. Our server was also amazing, so sorry I forgot his name!"

"Ordered takeout and the lady taking the to go orders was friendly and helpful. She didn’t seem annoyed we didn’t order online like they all want these days! "If I could give this location 0 stars I would!!! Honestly this place is not what it used to be I 've been coming here for a while and the only thing good about this place is the drinks. service is AWFUL, it like everyone there hates their job. From the greeter, to the serves and even the togo waitresses. very rude and no customer service at all. for first bad experience was when I ordered via door dash because I was pregnant and didn 't feel like going over to pick up my order. at first I thought it was a door dash error but quickly found out it was not. My food was cold, order was wrong when I called to get it corrected was told there was nothing they could do. fast forward to present day, I ordered to go and seemingly nothing has changed. upon walking into the establishment with my now 2 year old child, I was not greeted by the old lady working the door. when I told her I was there for a togo order she says yeah over there and cuts her eyes to the left. (I may have noticed the togo counter if I wasn 't trying to make sure my two year old didn 't get away from me).. continuing on to the togo counter I was starred at by a young lady until I told her what my name was, no greeting a very uncomfortable experience. after I told her my name she handed me my bag (still complete silence) and I gave her my card. she placed my card back on the counter (not in my hand) and walked away. I didn 't ask for my condiments such as sour cream etc because I wasn 't given a chance and honestly wanted to get out of there as soon as possible. don 't go here guys. you get what you pay for and this honestly isn 't IT!"
