"Plan Ahead: Reservations are a must, and it's wise to book early. The restaurant only operates a few days a week, and spots fill up quickly. This past February, I called to secure a table for Valentine's Day. When I finally reached someone, they were a bit rude, stating they didn't want to open because Valentine’s Day fell on a Tuesday. The decor is quite lacking, as many others have pointed out; it feels outdated. However, the food is fantastic. The steaks are cooked to perfection, and the mashed potatoes are simply delightful. The server I had during my last visit was exceptional. My chosen meal came with a side I didn’t particularly like, and he kindly apologized and offered to double the side that I preferred. My family and I have been there 20 times, including visits with my parents, my wife, and her parents."
