"I would have given Indo Cafe 5 stars if it were not for the recent price increase. I really enjoy the food at this restaurant, especially the Lotong Sayur, which is one of the few gluten-free options available. The presentation of the dishes may not be the most appealing, but the flavors are fantastic. I particularly love the tender rice cakes, which are hard to find elsewhere. Whenever I return to South East Asia, I always make sure to have some Lotong, as it is one of my favorite dishes. The curry is also incredibly flavorful without being too heavy. It's more like a soup, and I savor every last drop. Unfortunately, I had to get The Lotong Sayur to go, as the restaurant no longer has a dine-in area due to the pandemic. The price used to be $15.50, but now it's $25, which I find quite shocking. I understand that other restaurants have raised their prices slightly, but a $10 increase seems excessive. While I would be willing to pay this amount at a high-end restaurant, Indo Cafe is not in that category. As much as I love the food, I don't think I can justify spending $25 on the Lotong Sayur again. It's disappointing to have to say goodbye to such a delicious dish. I will miss it, but I won't be returning to purchase it at this price."
