"Karamell can be a bit laid-back and tends to attract an older crowd both in terms of clientele and menu preferences. We were thrilled to stumble upon this gem for dinner in Carmel after coming from San Francisco. The staff was young, energetic, friendly, and knowledgeable, providing perfectly attentive service while engaging in pleasant conversation. The food was amazing and truly memorable. We visit Carmel frequently, and I can confidently say that Karamell offers the most innovative and unique menu we've encountered. The dishes are fresh and bursting with lively aromas. You won’t find a menu like this anywhere else in the city. I highly recommend making a reservation! We had hoped to try their brunch as well while we were in town but unfortunately ran out of time.
