"I’ve been a vegetarian and a loyal Qdoba customer for the past five years since moving to the US. Unfortunately, after my most recent experience, I think I will no longer be ordering from them. My last three visits have been disappointing, and I'd like to share the details of the last two incidents.
First, about a month and a half ago, I ordered a veggie bowl through DoorDash. I specifically requested a taco shell on the side when I called, but when my order arrived, there was no taco shell, and about three or four toppings were missing. Instead, they added pickled onions, which I never asked for. The portion size was smaller than expected, and overall, the taste and quantity fell short of what I anticipated. I called the store to voice my concerns, and a kind gentleman assured me I'd receive a free meal on my next visit.
Fast forward to today, when I placed another order through DoorDash and mentioned the free meal during a call with the store. The manager denied the offer, stating they couldn’t provide a free meal but promised that today’s order would meet my expectations. I ordered two veggie bowls with taco shells on the side, which she made sure to include. However, when I received the order, I was shocked to find that the contents of each bowl only filled about 40% of the container. More than half was empty, with hardly any rice or beans. While the taste was still good, it felt as though they had intentionally reduced the portion size.
It was so disappointing that I didn’t even bother calling the store again. They had never been attentive to issues in the past, so I've decided it’s best to stop ordering from Qdoba entirely. Goodbye, Qdoba. You've lost a genuine customer who once truly enjoyed your food."
