"I've passed by this restaurant many times but recently stopped in with my family for lunch. We seated ourselves since there were plenty of open tables with only one or two others occupied. After checking out the menus, we went up to the register to order. I got enchiladas Rojas, my dad got camarones al mojo de ajo, my sister ordered flautas de pollo, and the kiddo got 3 Quesabirria. We also ordered a plate of chips and salsa for $2.50 and my sister got guacamole for $8, along with drinks (soda in a glass bottle and agua de jamaica). The chips and salsa came out first, served by a very friendly server. The chips were basic in flavor, but the salsa was good and enjoyable. However, the guacamole was disappointing, as it was just mashed avocado with no texture or flavor not even a hint of lemon, which was underwhelming for $8. Our plates arrived shortly after, and the presentation was nice. My enchiladas were packed tightly with overcooked, dry, and flavorless chicken breast. The sauce was thick and not very saucy, and the beans and rice were not to my liking. I tried a shrimp from my dad's plate, which was heavily seasoned, and realized the food was overly salty. My sister's flautas had the same issue. We're all fans of using salt to season, but this was excessive and made the food almost inedible. The standout here was the service. Both the cashier and the server were very friendly. The restaurant has a lot of seating and festive decor, and the menu offers many options. Unfortunately, the food didn't match our preferences. My bill for the enchiladas, shrimp plate, agua de jamaica, and a glass bottle of soda totaled $52 and some change before tip."
