"Went for happy hour and overall the food was above average. The chips were rather bland and definitely thicker and harder (not crispier) than most places I've been to. The queso and guacamole tasted great. Had the Tres Leches and Icebox Cheesecake desserts, and they were delicious. It may be poor memories or the overall effect of time and the pandemic, but we recall the appetizers and main entrees being more appealing and tasting better."

"I'm not going to lie, the first time I went I told myself I would never return. There were so many fruit flies there I thought i was really south of the border! My last few trips though I went in the winter and they seemed to have it under control. I have had many things. Here are the things you can skip; wings and queso dip, unless you have a mediocre passion for those items they are meh. The fiesta burrito though. DAT FIESTA BURRITO, the clouds part when it arrives with the side of re-fried beans and rice. The burrito if filled with fatty pulled pork, topped with cheese sauce is dream worthy. I tasted it for the first time because my friend ordered it. It was like the beautiful girl from across the room at prom that finally asked you to dance. I only got a taste, but I came back craving for more and ordered one for myself. But enough about that. If your 21+ and have a DD grab one of their grande cervezas, come in a cold mug and maybe even order a few rounds of 1800. The staff is very friendly and the server is very prompt. I would compare this place to other restaurants like El Loro or El Toro, but its better. The quality of food is better and the items are actually distinctively different. Unlike El Toro/Loro with red or green sauce poured over everything then placed with cheese under a salamander. Final Word: I will be back. I will check it out when the weather warms up to see about their fruit fly issues and report back. If they are as bad as last time, most likely will not be back for food. If you get ONE thing get the BURRITO!"

"We came here tonight for the first time Highly disappointed We were sat down, ordered drinks and chips and salsa came out We quickly figured out what we wanted and waited for our server After about 15 minutes, we looked around and see a group of femaleservers make eye contact with us, tap another female server, point to us and they all leave We assumed we were going to behelped soon Only one of them came and refilled our drinks and promptly left. "Convenient.. As the incredibly eloquent Mike Hauk suggested in an earlier review, this is a fairly standard Mexican-American restaurant, with all that entails. The food isn't spectacular, but it's fast and filling and doesn't leave me feeling too poorly. Moreover, the staff is professional, which is getting harder and harder to find in these type of places. Stay away from the fish tacos, though. They were terrible, second only to Froggie's Cantina in that regard."

"I was very disappointed with the service during my visit today. The restaurant was empty, yet our waiter took our drink orders and then walked away in the middle of taking them. He returned over ten minutes later to finish taking our drink orders. When I mentioned that we were ready to order food, he walked away again and came back with our drinks after another ten minutes. As we started placing our food orders, he didn’t write anything down after the second order. I asked if he was still listening, and he replied that he was. When I asked him if he heard about the nachos, he didn’t even seem to know what I was talking about because he hadn’t been paying attention. My mom had questions about a menu item that said it came with eight shrimp, and he just kept saying, “It’s just shrimp.” Frustrated, she decided not to order anything. This was the worst service I've experienced here, especially since we are a family of nine, and today there's an additional person. At least I can always rely on the food being good."

"I paid $9 for a 6oz cup of cheese dip that was only halfway full. I understand Nashville prices, but this is extremely unreasonable. The taste was comparable to what you can get at a grocery store. The quesadilla was decent, but nothing special. In general, I found the food to be overpriced and underwhelming."

"My first time, my friends second time. I like thin chips and thin is what they serve. A FREE small bowl of white queso comes with the chips and salsa. Food was great! We each took home leftovers for a second meal. Very filling. I wish I could remember our servers name, he was wonderful! The women definitely aren't very friendly. Including the one who barely spoke and just tossed our chips on the table as she kept on walking not saying a word."
