"From the mixed bag of reviews I can see the consistency might be an issue. There’s either a 5 star or a 1 star there is no in between.Our experience; came in party of 4 on a Sunday evening and the service from the start was nonexistent. Requested silverware at least three times before getting any to turning off part of the lights before we finished eating.Food; Cold stale breed with a “garlic and parley paste” that left much to be desired. Food wasn’t fresh whatsoever and made two of the four people in our group sick.They say don’t judge a book by its cover and this place is a prime example very pretty but that’s about it."

"Enjoyed our dinner there, great old castle atmosphere... Service was excellent, food was very good. Especially recommend the fried green tomatoes! My husband was disappointed with his rabbit so I can't recommend that. Breakfast was very good. Would eat there again."

"Had a great meal at The Castle. Started with a wonderful baby blue salad. Then had the Lollipop lamb chops. Excellent! Finished with the white chocolate raspberry bread pudding. My waitress was very personal and quick to take care of us. I definitely recommend this place for food,servic, and ambiance."
