"For those new to Roxie Deli, it’s located in a pleasant area of East Sacramento at the intersection of C Street and 34th Street. Parking is usually manageable, as it's situated in a residential neighborhood. Inside, this small market offers an impressive range of snacks even before you look at the sandwich menu. You’ll find treats like Moon Pies, Charleston Chews, Laffy Taffys, popcorn, sunflower seeds, and an enormous variety of chips. They also stock a wide selection of cold drinks, including sodas, energy drinks, bottled water, and beer to enjoy with your sandwich.
Now, let's talk about the sandwiches. If you're visiting for the first time, I highly recommend trying The Roxie Supreme on their signature Dutch Crunch bread. This sandwich costs nearly $20 but is a substantial foot-long packed with six types of meat: turkey, roast beef, pastrami, salami, mortadella, and ham. It also includes two cheeses; I usually choose cheddar and provolone, along with fresh produce like shredded lettuce, tomatoes, red onions, pickles, and jalapeños. It’s topped off with a generous helping of mayonnaise, mustard, salt, pepper, and hot sauce. You can also add extras for an additional fee, such as avocado, bacon, artichoke hearts, or mushrooms.
Besides The Roxie Supreme, they offer other delicious specialty sandwiches as well."
