"As many people have already mentioned in their reviews, as well as many public social media platforms have stated, Roxie Deli BBQ is a Sacramento proof and possibly one of the best sandwich spots/dellis in 916. I took at least a few dozen occasions (depending on the time they opened around 2005) before the picnic in the nearby McKinley Park or the ventilation to the American River. And in all these years, this family owned by small businesses on taste, selection and unbeatable prices. Most of them have opened very consistent hours 7 days a week from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. For those who have read this review that have never been here, this place in a prosperous area in East Sacramento is actually not too difficult to find directly on C St. and 34th St. car park, as this is in the heart of a residential area. As far as the interior goes, this tiny market packs a lot of snacks to choose; even before you make it a sandwich menu. Here you can find Moon Pies, Charleston Chews, Laffy Taffy 's, Popcorn, Sunflower seeds and a HUGE range of chips. They also carry a ton of cold drinks including all kinds of sodas, energy drinks, bottle water and beer to connect with this amazing sandwich. Now on their sandwiches; if you recommend a first timer, I HIGHLY They go with The Roxie Supreme on their signature Dutch Crunch Bread. Remember that this sandwich near $20, but it is a foot long and with 6 types of meat, turkey, roast beef, pastrami, salami, mortadella and ham. You will also receive two types of cheese; I usually go with Cheddar and Provolone. And of course the products containing shredded salad, tomatoes, red onions, pimples, jalapeños. And it is finished with a generous amount of mayonnaise, mustard, salt pepper and hot sauce. You can also choose Extras (surcharge) that includes avocado, bacon, artichoke hearts, mushrooms. Apart from their Roxie Supreme, they also have other Roxie specialties, including the house, Special , Veggie, Meatball Mafia, Chicken Marinara . In addition, they serve their breakfast sandwiches all day as well as creative sandwiches. And since BBQ is in its business name, they offer delicious slowly cooked BBQ food including tri-tip, pulled pork, ribs, brisket. They even carry a generous amount of pages such as potato salad, macaroni salad, pesto pasta salad, crab salad, tuna salad, meatballs, hummus, deviled eggs and much more. I would say that Roxie is the most complete hole-in-the-wall no-frills deli in the area, as every time I walk in here, I have positive moods and smiles from each and every of the staff working behind the counter. Been here total of 3 times but it?s always ? food. Pretty fast too! Great selection of beer as well. I got the pulled pork. Really good. With macaroni salad, pesto salad and potato salad.

Man, I live in town, but this place is worth the ride. Large flavors, fresh meat, delicious bread and generous portions. People always work great. You can get these flavors on an old chain?

We had the Supreme Sandwich and BBQ Chicken. The chicken was Blande. Nothing was wrong with the sandwich, it looked fantastic and tasted pretty good. They were also from a number of things.

We ordered sandwiches over an hour before the time. When we arrived, they started. Several groups that came after us and ordered, got their food before we did. I would recommend finding another place if you want your sandwiches in time. View menu

Excellent, huge sandwiches. Tri-tip smoked on-site. The tri-tip is juicy tender just the way such a sandwich should be. They have other meat vegetarian options as well. The deli crew are fun and seem to enjoy what they're doing. Outside patio seating.

Still consistently the BEST place around for sandwiches and mouth watering BBQ! The Roxie House sandwich is so delectable, that my mouth waters just writing about it. This is a small 'hole-in-the-wall ' joint, but don 't let the outside fool you, inside is where the magic happens and you don 't want to miss it!

This is a new favorite of mine when I'm in the area; they have a great selection and offer up some really good food! Overall their prices are very reasonable, and they have a nice selection to choose from. The shop is easy to get to, and has a nice patio area to site outside. I love this deli! and I don't live in the Sacramento area but when I do come to visit I head for this deli! It is delicious! The bread is amazing and if you love a good sourdough roll like I do; this is the deli for you! I have been visiting this deli since 2016 and the service has remained top level no matter who's working. They always make me feel right at home. There are cute tables that are completely covered and provide shade during the warm summer months and offer an assortment of drinks, chips, salads, sandwiches and fresh grilled meats that draw you in! A co-worker was raving about this little deli and BBQ place the day before. I appreciate her letting me know about this gem!!! I have not found a sandwich shop the challenges the taste of a togo's #9 hot pastrami sandwich until now!!! The house special with hot pastrami and Turkey on that fresh baked bread was soooooooo good!!! I wish I had bought two. Since this was my families first time we bought the meatball mafia and house special. My husband and I both took half of each others sandwich. Both sandwiches were delicious ?!! You really have to try for yourself. I can't accurately describe the magic theses sandwiches are made from.
