"Came by for an interview and they had me wait 20 minutes before meeting me. Wasn’t busy either. I’m not upset I didn’t get the job but I felt the judgement immediately. Didn’t even look at my resume to see that I had worked at places like this before as a COOK and tried to steer me away the job like it was too hard after asking only two questions… I looked at their staff and understood why. I believe he thought I was a different race bc of my name. I suggest diversifying your staff with different races and genders….and make people feel welcomed even if they’re not what you expect."
