"We had an amazing experience the first time we visited—food was delicious, generously portioned and reasonably priced. The restaurant is cozy and quaint and we loved the colonial experience. The wait staff was extremely nice. On our next visit, we were told, quite abruptly that we needed a reservation. It was three o’clock and the dining room was empty. The first receptionist looked to seat us, but was intercepted by another person who asked if we had a reservation. Then they ran to get yet another person who was not particularly nice about sending us away. It was awkward and uncomfortable. We are willing to go back and will make a reservation in the hopes we can enjoy another positive experience."
