"This is our first time to try Cluck 2 Go in Pasadena location. We've been to the one in Rowland Heights but we didn't like it. My family were a bit hesitated to try but I insisted to give it a try because this is the original one and reviews seem pretty good. Anyhow, we didn't regret it and it was so delicious! We had late lunch today so we ordered combo B on the menu. Combo B includes one whole chicken (you can choose white meat, dark meat or mix and we chose half dark and half white -mix), stir-fry string beans, spicy cucumber salad, fried peanuts, chicken soup (large), chicken rice (4). It's $47.88 and it serves 4-5 persons. Their portion was so generous and big. First, we like the fried peanuts, they were so addictive with some like cumin and sugar on it. The cucumber salad was not too spicy and it was delicious. The stir-fry string beans with diced garlic, it made the string beans even more tasty. The chicken soup was okay and it tasted like chicken broth but not salty so that's good. And the main dish whole chicken tasted super duper delicious. They served into two paper plates. The dark meat was smooth and juicy and not too much fat. The white meat were also tender. I like they cut them into small pieces so they were easy to eat. The sauces were perfect for dipping and made the chicken even more flavorful. (I particularly like the orange one with little spicy) The only thing that we think mediocre was the rice. We hope the rice would be more soft and flavorful. It was better than their other location in Rowland Heights but I've had better Hainan chicken rice. (But I guess it's healthier than the oily ones :P) For the utensils and plates, we prefer NOT to use those plastic and paper plates though. I know they may save a lot of work of washing dishes but they would make it more like dine-in experience, not to-go feeling. We couldn't finish them all and got some for to go. We will definitely go back again when we are in the area."
