"Recently, I was so happy to see Sushi Capitol had opened back up, since I thought they may have permanently closed a couple years ago. All the ingredients were fantastic in quality and prepared meticulously. From the appetizer (monkfish liver, baby scallops, and Washington state oyster), through the 14 pieces of sushi (fluke, salmon, Spanish mackerel, amberjack, scallop, uni, ikura, yellowtail, aji mackerel, ootoro, black snapper, unagi, tuna temaki), and finally to the miso soup and dessert, Sushi Capitol really shines for staying true to serving the highest quality product possible without any frills. I know they're a neighborhood staple in the Capitol Hill area, and I really enjoyed them in the past for the exact same reasons. Glad to see they've stayed consistent after all these years. These days they are only doing the $100 tasting menu for dine-in; the a la carte menu only for to-go. While I wish they still offered their a la carte menu for dine-in, we were okay giving the tasting menu a try. Next time, I can wait to try ordering their sashimi platters for take-out."
