"Today was the first time I went into the restaurant for a meal; I've previously ordered takeout from here before and was happy with it. I generally get the ????? (rice porridge with century egg and pork). The price is reasonable and it's chock full ofcentury eggs throughout (which I love, so that's a plus). It's one of the very few places in town that I've seen that evenoffer this dish. It's a nostalgic taste of family home cooking for me. My boyfriend ordered the pickled vegetables and porkintestine, and some sesame chicken. That was delicious as well. The pickled vegetable and pork intestine dish had a nice kickto it, a decent amount of spice. The sesame chicken was not too overbearingly sweet. The only criticism I might have up untilnow would be the fried rice that came with the entrees was pretty heavy on the soy sauce. I also noticed they have ho funnoodles on the menu, which I'll definitely try next time. Ho fun noodles are inexplicably hard to find at Chinese restaurantsin KC for some reason, so I'm excited that they offer them here. Service was friendly and the decor was nice. The booths are awee bit tight but manageable. Definitely returning when I'm craving some rice porridge or other familiar dishes. They alsohave things like steamed fish with ginger and mussels in black bean sauce, which are mainstay dishes in my family and I reallywant to try those here."

"Orchid Thai is a counter-serve Thai restaurant off Central. There’s ample parking in the back that’s off the main road, which is nice.Inside, seating is at tables with chairs instead of booths, so wheelchair users will have no issues here.Orchid Thai serves a variety of alcoholic drinks along with the standard sodas and teas. The entree menu is large, and they had an item I’ve not seen in my years of Thai dining: a Green Tea Curry. Unfortunately I’m not a fan of green tea flavors, so I skipped this dish.I got the Pud Thai (usually spelled “pad” , which consisted of a protein choice, rice noodles, egg, bean sprouts, peanut sauce, crushed peanuts, broccoli, steamed squash strips, and a lime garnish. I ordered the dish medium, but they forgot the spice and it came mild without a hint of added heat. While the portion sizes were quite large, the food itself was mostly just fine. I’d describe it as “doing the job” since I was hungry, but I wouldn’t crave what they served. There are other Thai places around that are much better and are less expensive. It seems the focus here is on quantity over quality.Vegetarian options: Thai food is easily made vegetarian or even vegan.Parking: There is a large shared parking lot in the back.Wheelchair accessibility: There are no stairs into the venue and all seating is table/chairs, not booths, so patrons using wheelchairs won’t have an issue."

"I ordered thru Uber Eats (who has become increasingly HORRIFIC in their own right asked the driver to 1 please call when outside 2 please do not leave food on the ground...he didn 't follow either direction left my food in the rain, on the wet ground. I get my soggy bag only to discover that the instructions to PLEASE include plenty of sauces was IGNORED to the tune of NONE!!! IDK about any one else but I hate dry food. What Chinese place do you know that doesn 't add the sauces?..well, I day, air fried spring rolls? (NOT a drop of oil OR flavor to be found! I 'M LIVID as it 's a Sunday I 'd aimed for a decent meal. Oh, and good luck calling the phone number but then again, if I were a stoned college student trying to pass off old rotisserie chicken tossed in a jarred sauce for REAL Chinese food, I wouldn 't want to answer all the calls demanding refunds either!!! Smh!!!NEVER AGAIN!...too many great Chinese restaurants in the Pittsburgh sea.I 'll go try to enjoy my dry dinner...SMH!!!! Right?....WRONG!!! I open up the containers what do I see? The DRIEST, MOST BLAND CHINESE food I 've ever seen in my life!!! (See pics if you think I 'm exaggerating My guess is a the owner is a college student or b has alot of stoned college buddies that were willing to trade a great review for a free meal or both!!! Old food that 's been sitting around alllll day, air fried spring rolls? (NOT a drop of oil OR flavor to be found! I 'M LIVID as it 's a Sunday I 'd aimed for a decent meal. Oh, and good luck calling the phone number but then again, if I were a stoned college student trying to pass off old rotisserie chicken tossed in a jarred sauce for REAL Chinese food, I wouldn 't want to answer all the calls demanding refunds either!!! "Hai Ky Mi Gia is a hidden gem in the Tenderloin district that serves authentic and delicious Chinese and Vietnamese noodles. The restaurant is small and cozy, with friendly staff and fast service. The menu offers a variety of noodle soups, dry noodles, and rice dishes, as well as some appetizers and beverages. I ordered the braised duck leg noodle soup with thick egg noodles, which was a generous portion of tender and flavorful duck meat, fresh vegetables, and chewy noodles in a rich and savory broth. The soup was hearty and satisfying, perfect for a cold day. The noodles were cooked just right, not too soft or too hard. The duck leg was easy to peel off the bone, and the skin was crispy and tasty. The broth had a nice balance of saltiness, sweetness, and spiciness, and I enjoyed adding some vinegar and chili sauce for extra kick. The station also had some condiments, such as soy sauce, hoisin sauce, and sriracha sauce, that you can use to customize your dish. The price was very reasonable, considering the quality and quantity of the food. The restaurant accepts cash and credit cards, and there is a tip jar at the counter. Overall, I had a great experience at Hai Ky Mi Gia, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone who loves noodles and duck. It is one of the best places to eat in San Francisco, especially if you are looking for authentic and affordable Asian cuisine. The restaurant is located at 707 Ellis St, San Francisco."
