"It 's fine. Possibly the best Mexican food in the middle-of-nowhere Missouri. (Take that as a compliment or as an indictment; your choice. I 've been too long from my home in Mexico and I was craving something with a little flavor. Instead, what I got was a little disappointment. The food was bland and moderately overpriced. The chips and salsa weren 't too bad. I ordered the Nachos Grande because it 's an opportunity for the kitchen to showcase their queso, pollo, carne, and seasonings. What I got was a soggy, soupy, bland, goopy mess. Under a mountain of shredded lettuce was a pile of chips soggy from floating in a pond of from-a-can queso sauce. There was some chicken and some beef but if one were blindfolded one could not tell which was which from taste alone. Service was OK, if not a little slow. And I 'm adding a star for having authentic Mexican food in the middle of nowhere (all of the waitstaff spoke Spanish, so, um, authentic . But really this is a two-star experience in terms of flavor, texture, atmosphere, service, and overall value."
