"I haven't been back to Lumberton in years, and everywhere I went for BBQ was closed until someone reminded me of Pauline's. I remembered it fondly. They serve great Eastern-style BBQ, complemented by delicious Calabash-style seafood. Since moving west, I've really missed good Eastern BBQ, and this place definitely delivered. The grill is impressive, and the sides were excellent. The sweet potatoes were particularly tasty. The service was friendly, too. Don’t expect anything fancy, but you definitely won’t leave hungry. It's a great spot for a hearty meal with welcoming service."
