"We spent a week house-sitting for a friend in the area and decided to try this restaurant for dinner after reading the mostly very positive reviews. I’m a big fan of Mexican cuisine! While some reviews mentioned longer wait times, they suggested it was worth it. Unfortunately, we had to wait about 15 minutes before anyone took our order, and then it was another half hour before our food arrived. When the food finally came, it was underwhelming. My cheese enchiladas were just okay; they could have used more sauce, but the sauce itself wasn’t impressive. My husband received a different enchilada than he ordered, and while they corrected it, it only meant more waiting for us. The meals were supposed to come with two homemade tortillas, but we didn’t receive any until we asked for them, leading to more delays. Overall, while the minimal staff did their best and were polite and accommodating, it was really challenging to remain patient. Sometimes, a wait is worth it for great food, but unfortunately, that wasn’t the case this time."
