"Today, Sunday the 21st, I bought takeout food, I bought rice with pork dough and fried plantains. Something is wrong in the kitchen. The rice was hard and the beans too, and that cook uses too much color because that's not from the beans alone and the pork dough seemed to have came out of a crematorium and if anyone there reads this they know it's true, that has never happened before Don Ramón has always given his best but something is wrong."

Since their first day opened, this neighborhood restaurant has been my favorite for authentic Cuban food, regardless of the locations, as a Cuban American, I find this place to be an alternative to cooking at home, Free plenty of parking is a plus

While my grandma's home-cooked Cuban dishes are hard to beat, I still found the food here to be quite good. The prices felt a bit high, but that's probably because I'm used to enjoying this cuisine on a daily basis as a Cuban American. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone who has never tried Cuban food before.

Great black bean soup! This is the 2nd DON Ramon’s we have visited, the other was in Wellington. The Cuban sandwiches were good and served with fries, served hot and delicious. .The chicken on the chicken sandwich was cut very thin and there didn’t seem to be many additional ingredients resulting in a dry and tasteless lunch. I think on the next visit we will more traditional dishes. We will be back!!
