"We had a reservation DAYS in advance. First issue was one of our apps was not put in the computer. When the entrées came out, there was at least a 30 minute spread between the first and the last plate, so half of us were watching the rest eat. They did not have a bun for a chicken sandwich, which they did not tell us until 25 minutes after we ordered. We had 3 orders of scallops, 2 of them came out before everything and the third was the last dish out which makes me believe they did not put that in either. There were other tables that got there 45 minutes after us and had food first. Just very unorganized, which is a shame because all of the food was phenomenal. For parties under 4 people I can see the service being better, however it was so unorganized I would not recommend for groups over 5 people."

"Food is good however was disappointed in the service. Canned beer that was served had top to bottom full of large sediment particles, twice. We were told that happens sometimes which I understand but it was a concerning amount of sediment that we didn't even want to taste regardless of being asked to. Was not aware of the timing of which menu (brunch vs. dinner) would be selected so that would be helpful information on the website considering I would have rather enjoyed an early dinner than a very late brunch. Finally, although I understand we came in the lull of service rushes, staff were sitting down to eat right behind our table speaking loudly which was just unpleasant. I've worked in the food industry for over a decade and it was subpar for service for the price."

"This was a last minute reservation for us. What a treat it was. They are expertly prepared and plated meals. You can tell the Chef and kitchen staff really care about what they serve. You can actually taste the flavors and not just salt like a lot of places do. So very pleased. We will be back."

"The energy of the place was off and the staff seemed flustered. Waiter didn’t go over specials, decor kind of resembled the IKEA dining hall, music was so low and the restaurant itself was oddly loud. I had the “shrimp and grits” which was so oily Texaco should invest stock in the recipe. The “grits” were not prepared right and had a repulsive over-mushy texture. I grew up eating shrimp and grits and this poor excuse for that dish should be thrown so far off the menu. Especially for $26. Husband had the stuffed cod and I’ve had better fish from a frozen box. The fish was absolutely fresh-frozen and not prepped properly. The fish was watery, mushy, and lacking any sort of texture. Sloppily thrown on a plate with a cream sauce that was separating. The worst, most expensive meal I’ve had in ages. Either lower the prices or raise your standards. Will not be returning."

"Glad I tired it but doubt I'll be back. This place is bright and pretty but that is the only great thing I can say about it. Granted, it was a Sunday evening but there did not seem to be a bartender. After waiting 10 minutes for a drink, I was able to flag down the manager, and he passed my order to someone who was also a server. When she placed my drink down, i I said thank you and she just turned away. When it came time for a second drink, the manager served us. The drinks were good but pricy for the size. Once seated, our server was lovely but wasn't around much and it wasn't that busy. I ordered the shrimp and grits and a side of brussel sprouts. Everything had too much honey flavor and there were no grits in my main course (shame on me for ordering a southern dish up north). My cousin enjoyed her fish though, although she agreed there are better options out there."
