"I recently had brunch at Brim with my partner, and our guest. The meeting was both a personal as well as a professional one. We chose the place because we were looking for someplace special and a little upscale for the occasion. We were hosting our guest. Upon arriving at our table, it became apparent that the tables across from us were not being bussed. Dirty plates and left over food looked as if they had been there for quite awhile. I asked the server to clear them. Some half hour or so later, I asked again, and finally the tables were cleared. Our food came out one plate at a time, to the point where each of us literally ate our entrees alone. Brunch took over two hours just to get our food and eat. We had to leave before my guest was finished for another commitment. Our guest ordered the shimp creole as recommended and described by our server, but was surprised when it arrived, a version of eggs benedict. The server never indicated this in her description. At least the mis-order was taken off our bill without any attitude. My omelet came out late and was badly overdone. We finally received ketchup and hot sauce three quarters of the way through our meal, well after my partner was finished. At no time did a manager come out, check on us. My partner and I eat out a lot, business and pleasure, but this was by far the worst experience I've had in quite awhile. As the bill with tip was over a hundred dollars, not truck stop diner prices, I expected a great deal more. I'm sure the server who remained cheerful was not solely to blame, but clearly training and supervision was missing."

This was such an amazing experience! Connor was able to provide great insight to both the drinks and meals.

It took a while beyond our reservation time to be seated. Service was quite slow. Our check was placed on the table without ever being offered more coffee or any desert.

The server was polite and knowledgeable about the menu. She recommended a meal and it was excellent! The restaurant was nice, the service was exceptional and the food was great!

The restaurant was out of steak, fish, and all draft beer. My wine had floating black specks in it. There was a lot of construction noise nearby. We decided to leave after having appetizers. It was a disappointing experience, but at least it makes for a good story. View menu

Not only was the food incredibly bland, but it was insanely overpriced for the quality. The coffee is atrocious. The server confused the two meals that we ordered and couldn’t figure out why they were wrong. When it was pointed out to her, she barely apologized. Go down the street to City Egg or to The Brew House. Much better quality, prices and service. Also, they have no idea how to get anything gluten free.

I wish I had read the reviews beforehand. Just like most people mentioned, the slow service here is awful. After an hour of waiting, we only received our drinks, which took a long time to arrive. We decided to order appetizers and our main course at the same time to try to speed things up, but unfortunately, our appetizers never showed up. The short ribs were very tough. On the bright side, the Bravette steak and Burger were tasty. The atmosphere was great, but I don't think I'll be returning.

We visited the Brim House to celebrate our 20th Wedding Anniversary. We started with the fresh baked bread with herb/garlic butter. The bread came out piping hot and was delicious. We ordered the aged filet and short ribs. Both meals were cooked perfectly with amazing flavor. The manager congratulated us on our anniversary and offered a complimentary bottle of champagne or dessert. We opted for the dessert, which was equally as good as our meals. Thank you for such an enjoyable experience, we highly recommend The Brim House. View menu

My husband and I had a lovely anniversary dinner at Brim House on a Thursday evening. The food was amazing and our waiter, Connor, provided excellent service. We both enjoyed our cocktails, which were generously sized. The filet mignon with asparagus and potatoes was delicious and cooked perfectly. As a special treat for our anniversary, we received a complimentary lemon and blueberry torte for dessert, which was light and delicious. After our meal, we went upstairs to The Heights on the 12th floor to enjoy a drink and take in the view, complete with a cozy firepit. Overall, it was a wonderful anniversary celebration.

Very disappointed. We had reservations for Mother’s Day having dined here before and having a great time I wanted to go back. The server said there was no drink menu and we could basically order what we wanted, last time there was a lovely cocktail menu he said he didn’t know why. We ordered and 45 minutes later we still didn’t have our starter salads that we ordered. Our server finally came over to see if we were ok when I asked him for our salads that we had not received yet. He brought them out only for it to be followed by meals for 2-of the 4 in our party…the 2 with salads. The 2 of us without meals or salads sat there without our meals, one came out 8 min later and mine was another 5 o...

"Date night Saturday night. Our reservation was for 7pm, but we were falling asleep, so luckily they were able to accommodate at 6:15. : Only a few tables were occupied. Tall ceilings, nice ambiance, would have maybe liked some additional lighting such as candle light (or faux candle light . The weather outside was lovely and they opened the doors which gave way to French doors with iron railing. they were pretty! Our server mentions that the menu changes pretty frequently so we may not see on the menu what we read online. Fine by me, as you know from my reviews, I 'm always up for a food adventure. I had a gin based cocktail which tasted balanced. Spring Mushroom Mousseline, Pistachio and Drunken Fruit with Date Pecan bread. Mousseline served in a glass votive like ramekin (much like you 'd see foie , was tasty, creamy, albeit a little gritty from the pistachios. The bread came like a small loaf, almost precut (could have been sliced all the way through , with macerated cherry/cranberry compote. For a vegetarian option like foie, we were pleased and ate the entire portion. Scotch Olives with Saffron Aioli. These olives were HOT. No joke. A bit of, could you please blow on this before I burn my tongue? But, they were briny on the inside, with a perfectly coated fried crunch outside, and so yum once the heat dissipated. Nice touch on the aioli. Only 4 of them unfortunately... that 's 2.25 each! Rosemary Grilled Lamb Chops with Seedy Broccolini Salad with Cherries. Wood grilled carrots and pomegranate molasses. $39. Nice presentation. Crunchy but soft carrots, broccolini cooked perfectly. Seemed a bit on the small side as far as meat goes. Two double lollipops. Cooked perfect, and beautiful gamey taste, just not too much bang for the buck. Grilled Sturgeon, warm rice salad, fiddlehead ferns, snap peas. Not a fan of the glaze ontop, the fish portion was fine, but lackluster. I 'm a huge sucker for fiddlehead ferns, and I also know that they can be overcooked within seconds, which these were just slightly overcooked, lacked the snap in your teeth you get from a bright green cooked correctly one. Oh well. With everything in one bite, it was good, just not amazing. We shared the Mexican hot chocolate warm brownie/cake in a cup. The foam was nice, but the inside really reminded me of a fudgy cake you can buy in the grocery store, add water, and nuke in the microwave. Next time, happy to go back just for drinks and apps. Skip the more expensive main courses on their menu."
