"I'm writing this review from the perspective of a traveler who arrived at the downtown DSM Marriott around 9 PM on a Friday night. By the time I checked in and unpacked, it was almost 10:30 PM, and most nearby dining options were about to close. Fortunately, the hotel restaurant stays open until 1 AM! Being in a new city at night and still on Pacific Time, this was a real blessing. There was only one waitress managing both the tables and the bar, and despite her busy schedule, I received better service here than at other fully-staffed restaurants! My drink was promptly refilled as soon as it was empty. The chicken tender platter was delicious, and I appreciated having access to comforting late-night food without having to leave the hotel. This is a great spot for those who prefer a safe, reliable choice."
