"This is hands down the best Japanese cuisine and sushi in the area! It's a small, family-owned restaurant with friendly staff and a loyal customer base. Unfortunately, there are always a few people who feel the need to leave negative comments. Before you do, consider whether it was a busy shift, if there were new trainees, or if the staff was short-handed. Have you ever worked as a server? I've noticed that only those without an understanding of the challenges involved tend to leave negative feedback. All the food is made to order, so waiting for 25 to 30 minutes for sushi or hibachi is normal, especially during busy times when it can even extend to 45 minutes or more. If you're pressed for time, fast food options like McDonald's and Burger King are nearby. I urge everyone to be kind and understanding when posting criticisms. I'm just very grateful that Sumi Japanese Cuisine has managed to survive the pandemic, which has been tough on our economy and seemingly on some people's common sense and kindness as well."
