"The tamales were out of this world—definitely some of the best I’ve ever had. The molé was exquisite; finding well-made molé is a rarity, but theirs was spot on. I ended up savoring every last bit of it with the warm, soft flour tortillas provided.
The hot, thick, and freshly made corn tortilla chips paired with the fresh salsa were a treat, adding a delightful crunch to my warm, tender entrée. The chili verde was simply phenomenal; even your grandmother would shed tears of joy over it. The steak melted effortlessly into the verde sauce, and the tomatoes retained just the right amount of firmness, making for a lovely bite amidst the generous portions of steak. The rice was also on point—fluffy, moist, and bursting with flavor.
Everything here is authentic, made from scratch, and I feel incredibly lucky to have stumbled upon this gem during our cross-country road trip. I can confidently say I will definitely be back. As a bonus, the restaurant is located next to a charming local park, perfect for outdoor dining!
