"However, despite our order being straightforward, we noticed that four tables seated after us were served first. Our waitress was very kind, apologizing and keeping us updated about the delay. Unfortunately, when our order finally arrived, it was incorrect—we received two cheese pizzas instead of one pepperoni, and the supreme pizza was loaded with jalapeños, which was a problem since I’m allergic to them. With three hungry kids, we decided not to make a fuss, as we understand mistakes happen.
However, when I pointed out the jalapeños, the kitchen manager seemed dismissive and insisted that we must have mixed up our peppers, claiming they were cherry peppers. For the record, cherry peppers are red, and jalapeños are green. As someone with an allergy, I found his attitude frustrating and condescending, especially as I was trying to remain understanding about the situation. It would have been sufficient just to apologize, but instead, we were made to feel foolish.
We paid the full price of $159 for our meal without receiving any compensation. Even more frustrating was the kitchen manager coming out to give us attitude rather than address our concerns. It’s worth noting that unhappy customers share their experiences, and in today’s world, social media amplifies this feedback.
To make matters worse, after requesting to speak with the owner, several employees told us he had left, and the kitchen manager admitted he needed to call him. It’s hard to believe when we watched him incorrectly make two cheese pizzas after a significant wait.
It’s disappointing to see that instead of owning up to their mistakes, the restaurant’s management resorted to deception. Because of this experience, my family, our friends, sports teams, and associates will avoid this establishment. The lack of accountability shows in their actions, and we will be sharing our story widely. Take care, as it seems you’ll need it with such an attitude!"
