"I have been living in the neighborhood for 25 years and am in my 50s. Despite always seeing a much younger crowd at this place, I had never visited until recently on a rainy Sunday afternoon when it was surprisingly empty. I decided to step in for a drink with a friend, but the bartender immediately asked for our IDs without much warmth or friendliness. He served us our beers and then seemed to forget about us, even though we were the only two customers in the place for a while. As a resident of the Mission, I know there are plenty of other places where I would be greeted warmly and treated well. It's disappointing to see someone in the service industry who doesn't appreciate their customers, especially when the place is nearly empty on a Sunday. I come from a family of bartenders, so I always tip generously out of respect, but I only left $2 for this bartender, which I still considered to be generous."

Did several bad experiences with a certain Bouncer have far too strict and only usually make our visit worse (the bar is packed, why would you kick my friend out to easily bump into you? but it is a fun bar with good drinks prices. View menu

My favorite bar in San Francisco after the Hole in the Wall. Blondie's is a great place for a drink and a conversation. Every bartender I've spoken with has been professional and friendly. Besides that, the blue cheese olives are AMAZING!

I will never go to Dummy Blondie's Bar again! The bartenders are fake and don't even say hello or welcome before asking for ID. Also, there is a ridiculous sign behind the bar about tipping, which I find unprofessional. I believe in earning a tip the old-fashioned way. They do not deserve even one star.

One of the better middle class bars in town , great music and vibe , once in a while there is a trouble maker and then gives a bad review, , the bartenders are the coolest as long as one is cool , and if you someone in trouble with bouncer it's because they got stupid , they really keep the place safe for techies and others always

I have been a patron of Blondes for many years, but the experience has changed drastically since the pandemic. The drink servings have become smaller, with martini glasses only filled halfway despite still being served with the shaker. The bartenders are quick, but lack in friendliness and hospitality. Many other bartenders manage to be attentive and smile despite being busy, unlike the ones at Blondes. The most unpleasant aspect of the place is the intimidating bouncer, an old man with no personality, who stands at the edge of the stage and stares intensely at patrons. This behavior is off-putting and creepy. Overall, Blondes has lost its charm.
