The bowls of noodles had a strong aroma that hinted they could be quite spicy, but the level of heat turned out to be perfect—not overwhelming at all. I was pleasantly surprised by the tofu; it was very flavorful and topped with small pieces of meat, which I didn’t expect since the name implied it was vegetarian. Be prepared to use a spoon for the tofu, as it was silky soft and hard to pick up with chopsticks. The service was excellent as well; our server was quick to respond when we called and frequently refilled our water. I didn’t encounter the issue mentioned in another review regarding obligatory tips and extra requests for tips on the receipt; perhaps it was a temporary glitch that has been resolved."
