"I never leave reviews... I 'll just start out with that. I work in the hospitality industry myself, and I understand that nothing can be perfect all the time, so I try not to be whiny (especially publicly) when things don 't go perfectly. But I really felt like I needed to let you guys know about this one. If I 'm talking about customer service, my review is one star. I put one extra down because of the ambiance... this really is the cutest hotel ever, and it 's been so fun to walk around in. But I had a housekeeper enter my room before 9am while I was sleeping... I felt very unsafe. I called the front desk to verify what the actual checkout time was, and they said they would speak to the housekeeping manager . Imagine my surprise when I got another knock forty five minutes later. I opened the door, asked why they were there again, and the housekeeper literally yelled at me that I needed to put the do not disturb sign up so that they wouldn 't come back. I explained my confusion- if I have the room until 11am, why do I need the sign? Just don 't come back until 11? I was planning to be out earlier than that anyway. Then I called the front desk aaaaaagain, and spoke with Alexa, the manager there. She was also rude when I tried to explain that the housekeeping staff seemed aggressive and made me feel unsafe. I am a woman traveling alone and I would think that another woman would have been supportive of that. So, guys, learn from me... put your sign on your door, and don 't try to ask Alexa for some help, because you won 't get it. Or just don 't come here. I paid $300 for one night and I just can 't justify that with what 's happening right now."
