"Overall, nice restaurant inside but the food was not. Xushi Ko is located in a small strip center right next to Best Buy in Dearborn. Plenty of parking, nice staff, but the food was terrible. I called ahead to ensure they could accommodate Gluten Free diet and they said yes. I originally ordered a California Roll along with the Chicken and Shrimp hibachi (Gluten Free). The waiter came back to the table a few minutes later and notified me that the California Roll was NOT Gluten Friendly because they add soy sauce to the Lobster so, I cancelled the roll. By the time my dinner arrived I asked for Yum Yum Sauce (the standard sauce that comes with EVERY hibachi meal I've ever eaten) to my surprise, they did not carry it. I asked if there were any other sauces I could choose from and he waiter said the rest all have Gluten in them. I tried the hibachi and unfortunately, it had too much pepper in it and because there was no Yum Yum Sauce, the food was dry. Needless to say, I did not enjoy my meal and would not recommend to anyone who is Gluten intolerant. 2 Stars because food was dry, peppery, and not good they did not carry Gluten Friendly options. The aesthetic inside was pretty clean but no hibachi grills to cook on, everything is made in the back. Sadly, I will not be coming back."
