"This was my first trip to America, my first trip abroad myself, my first long haul flight and only my second trip abroad in the last 25 years, and I have autism. The level of service at the hotel was excellent and various staff members helped me, however Manny that works at reception really made a spectacular difference. On the first night I had become hugely stressed due to the travel and a few issues before arriving at the hotel which included my padlock being stuck on my suitcase. I approached Manny and his level of service, friendliness and overall demeanour hugely calmed me down and we where able to resolve the issue. Any time I had any issue at all he was always there to help. I had booked a guided tour of Salem, and I had no idea how to get there, Manny helped me download all the apps I needed to my phone to be able to get an Uber and a train to there, as well as showing me how to use them to see the schedules for the trains etc. I cannot explain how much of a difference he made to a trip I was excited but also highly stressed about. The hotel in general is well located in the seaport and within walking distance of many amenities as well as downtown. The hotel has a great public area on the ground floor which has many comfortable seats and games such as a pool table which is free to use. The hotel was always very clean and I the room was comfortable with an excellent view of the city. Directly across the road from the hotel is the lawn on D, which is a public space by the convention centre which has free activities such as ping pong, pickle ball and other outdoor activities, as well as having seated areas and is just a nice place to hang out."

Rooms and hotel were absolutely beautiful! Service was lacking. Our concerns were mostly resolved in the end, but that wasn't until we checked out. It shouldn't take that long to help a paying customer.

I wanted to make sure I left a review after having such a great experience. We had been in the car with two kids and arrived a little earlier but the staff was so generous to let us check in early. We requested a pack n play and it was immediately taken up to our room. The room had a nice view, and felt spacious enough for all of us. The staff was so friendly especially with our children. I would definitely stay here again.

I had a fantastic experience at Aloft. The location and service were both excellent. What truly made my stay memorable was Svet at the front desk. She went above and beyond to assist me when I was feeling unwell. She took the initiative to order food for me since they don't offer room service, and she even delivered it personally while managing her other responsibilities during a busy time with multiple business events at the hotel. This was truly exemplary service. Thank you, Svet, and thank you, Aloft!

We stayed in a king suite, and the room was absolutely stunning. It was a bit odd that there was a window into the bathroom that allowed you to see inside from the main room. I also wished there was a bit more lighting; we only had a desk lamp and the reading lights over the bed. The atmosphere was fantastic, the service was friendly, and the venue feels upscale at an affordable price. The views from the front rooms are excellent, but if you’re in a side room, you'll just be looking at industrial parking lots and a lot of trucks. So, if the view matters to you, I highly recommend opting for an upgrade! View menu

1. The shower has a peculiar window that allows other guests to see in if they choose to look. 2. We were given two queen beds, but they tend to slide around on their frames. While it's not a major issue, I’ve unfortunately bumped my shins on the bed frames several times, and my roommates have too. I haven't had this many shin injuries since my soccer days, so it might not be ideal for older guests or those with mobility challenges. 3. The room lighting is a bit on the dim side. 4. The water pressure in the shower is relatively low, which is disappointing, but it is a nice shower overall. 5. The pool is currently closed. That said, I really liked the room and the location, and I would defin...

This place LITERALLY steals your money. I made two reservations for 2 rooms since I had a work party and my coworkers and I wanted to be safe and not drive back home drunk. We got there around 1am and left right at check out. Well when I checked my account they had charged me an extra night on one of the rooms and I have been trying for over a YEAR to get money back. They say they will get back to me but never do. The last time I tried they had the nerve to say because I came in late but how would that make sense and also to only charge one room extra night. Not to mention when you make a reservation for a room its from 3pm to 12 pm so if I choose to come in at 6am or 11am and sleep for an h...

The location is fantastic, but unfortunately, the hotel falls short in many areas. The building and décor can only be described as cheap, with quickly deteriorating furniture and decorations. The rooms are cramped, seemingly designed to squeeze in as many as possible into this rundown structure. There is no microwave available, and despite advertising it, there is no access to the pool. Breakfast is not included, which ended up costing us an additional $30. The bathroom is tiny and even features a glass panel into the shower from the main room, which is quite odd. The carpets are worn, and the construction quality throughout is clumsy and unrefined. Additionally, parking costs $50 per day, w... View menu

The lighting was a little odd; the lights only turned on with the main switch, which meant I couldn’t leave the bedroom light on without illuminating the entire room. At the end of my stay, I noticed that every Chinese employee greeted me, which struck me as unusual because the staff who interacted with me earlier weren't Chinese and didn't feel the need to greet me. One time, as I was heading to the elevator, a male employee—who was also Chinese—seemed to be waiting for me down the hall, and I noticed he was filming me with his phone and another device at an awkward angle. When I caught his eye, he quickly tried to hide what he was doing. This left me wondering if the hotel was monitori...

The woman at the front desk, wearing a gray suit, should not be working in hospitality. There are numerous complaints and reviews about her demeanor. She was rude to every guest, and I found myself in a verbal altercation with her, as well as with other customers who were also unhappy. As for the room, it was in poor condition. I could hear noise from all around me, including the ceiling and floor. I was even awakened by whistling from the neighboring room. The air conditioning unit was excessively loud and kept changing temperatures randomly—it would be hot one moment and cold the next. Regarding parking, I recommend finding your own spot. It’s cheaper, and the hotel doesn't inform you a...

"No soup/sandwich shop compares in terms of price per quality, portion size, and different options in the area. I only started ordering from here about 2 weeks ago and I’ve now had 7 different kinds of soups and 4 different kinds of sandwiches after the first order I started ordering two soups and a sandwich aka a soup to save for later because they’re just that good, every one of them. Price is so very reasonable and depending on which combo you get you can make out with a full sized sandwich and large sized homemade soup for $14.While it’s hard to recommend one thing over another in this circumstance since it’s all been great in their own ways, the Chicken Chowder is something I plan on getting a quart of next time it’s available. The Chicken Barley and Chicken Lemon Rice are ones I plan on getting quarts of in the future as well, and that’s not to discount the Chicken Noodle, Beef and Veg Noodle Stew, French Onion, and the current seasonal Chilled Gazpacha (which I probably wouldn’t have even tried it wasn’t from these guys . It’s all top quality. The Chicken Tarragon sandwich is my favorite in terms of sandwiches although it can’t combo with a soup as of now (please let us! . The best cheap soup combo sandwich is a tossup between the Cilantro Tuna and Ciabatta Sandwich, which are both incredible in their own ways. The only few drawbacks to this place are they don’t have every soup they make every day, are only open until 4PM, and aren’t open on the weekends. That said it’s worth it to plan accordingly for this. I never review anything but this place is worth it it’s the best if you’re a soup and sandwich person like I am."

"If you’re looking for some of the most flavorful, fresh, and delicious ramen, you have to check out Isshindo Ramen! If you’re a ramen fan like me, you know the KEY to a good ramen boils down to the broth and the noodles. Some places the broth is too salty or “greasy”. You don’t have that issue here.I’ve gone to many ramen spots in multiple cities and this place keeps me coming back. Every time I am in Boston I must order from here. Luckily for me, I’ll be spending part of my year in Boston- so I’ll get to enjoy it more often! The broth is super flavorful, savory, and creamy. It is made using a specially treated water and boiled pork bones. This is what gives you that amazing broth and flavor! It’s also loaded with vitamins and nutrients. It is a great option for those looking for an alternative to traditional soup! The noodles used in the ramen are a little different than other Ramen spots- and that is okay! The noodles are more straight than traditional ramen noodles you know. They cook them perfectly so they aren’t mush. The broth is packaged separate for delivery- as to keep everything fresh and hot. The noodles will continue to cook in the boiling hot broth. Some places don’t account for that and the noodles don’t hold up. This place knows the deal and factors that in. I like that.Lastly, the chashu pork is melt-in-your-mouth incredible. You get four large, soft, and delicious cuts of pork belly in your ramen. I like to break the big pieces up. They don’t skimp at all on the quality or quantity of the meat. The ramen is also generously served with Woodear mushrooms, scallion, bean sprouts, nori seaweed, and a soy egg.I have ordered delivery from here multiple times and it’s my favorite spot in town for ramen. It’s always delivered piping hot and packaged very well! The broth is packed separate, as to keep the noodles from overcooking in the hot broth. It also prevents a soggy ramen. The packaging is perfect. I’ve never had anything spill or leak. They also include chopsticks and a soup spoon. Order is always accurate. If you love ramen, you’ve got to give Isshindo a try! You won’t be disappointed.Pro Tip: I recommend a ramen for each adult. However, if you want a bit bigger portion you can add extra noodles for a small up charge- that’s what I usually do. But aside from that, portions are generous. I just like extra noodles.I look forward to eventually eating here in person. But for now- delivery has not disappointed me yet! My favorite spot for ramen!"
