"OMG! I can't say enough positive things about this restaurant. This is the best sushi that I have ever had in my life and I'm not a youngster. I had the seafood soup for an appetizer and it was just perfect so delicious! What I wanted (Chef's Choice Sushi) was not on the menu so I simply asked for it. In return, I was rewarded with eight pieces of, as I have already said, the most delicious sushi I have ever had in my life. I thanked the chefs multiple times before leaving. I highly recommend this restaurant, and if you let the chef decide you will not be disappointed. The prices are more than reasonable for the high quality of food. I was immensely satisfied."

"I have lived in Japan and this restaurant serves some of the most authentic Japanese food in Alameda. The sushi rice is perfect, with just the right balance of sweetness. The sashimi is always very fresh and expertly cut, with no gristle. The tempura appetizer over cold soba is a great choice on warm days, while the salt-broiled mackerel and ramen are perfect for colder weather."

"A clean, affordable sushi place on Forest Ave. Ginza is right across the street from my work, so I decided to give it a shot. My wife loves their food, and I wanted to see if I would. I ended up getting beef teriyaki for lunch, and for the price I feel like I got a decent amount of food, and it all came in an attractive package. The interior of the store was very clean, and the staff were very nice and hospitable. My only qualm was that there was a sort of long wait on a day where they essentially had no business and I was the only one in there. My food took about a half hour or more to prepare. Still, I will be back to try other dishes. Would recommend."

"It's SO hard to find LEGIT Japanese food in Cleveland (or Ohio for that matter? and not like.. Americanized Japanese food... THIS place is the closest I've found to REAL Japnese food ??? Their Miso Soup reminds me of the miso soup I had for school lunch every day when I lived in Japan. And their sushi/sashimi ? selection is pretty extensive??? I'm just sad that they don't provide any other Japanese dishes... Like pickled vegetables, egg-drop soup, ??????????????????????????????????? ??? Why don't you serve these basic, traditional, Japanese dishes??? There's so much more to Japanese food than sushi and ramen ? (well.. ramen is Chinese.. but.. w.e I was impressed by the list of JAPANESE SAKE! ?????? They had cold AND hot sake????? Amazing! They were playing my favorite anime on TV: NARUTO!??? And the friendly STAFF cozy, shwanky AMBIANCE alone is enough for me to keep coming back!???? I love this place! Oh, and hot towels are only used in the winter ? when it's cold outside.... Cold towels are used in the summer when it's hot outside?? I'm just being nit-picky ?haha."

"Hello sushi enthusiasts! I recently visited this restaurant and found it to be average. I would like to suggest that you give it a try if you are considering going! I decided to be adventurous and ordered a deep-fried California roll, which turned out to be quite unappetizing. The rice surrounding the sushi was deep-fried, not the fish. However, my girlfriend enjoyed her vegetarian roll, which was delicious. While dining in for the first time, I had high expectations due to the good reviews from friends. Unfortunately, the interior of the restaurant was subpar, with cheap plastic decorations and a somewhat dirty environment. The service was friendly but disorganized, with some mistakes in serving our table and others nearby. Overall, it is a decent sushi spot with 4 stars for food, 3 stars for service, and 1 star for atmosphere, averaging a 4-star rating. If you do visit, I would recommend getting takeout as dining in may not be worth your time."
