"A clean, affordable sushi place on Forest Ave. Ginza is right across the street from my work, so I decided to give it a shot. My wife loves their food, and I wanted to see if I would. I ended up getting beef teriyaki for lunch, and for the price I feel like I got a decent amount of food, and it all came in an attractive package. The interior of the store was very clean, and the staff were very nice and hospitable. My only qualm was that there was a sort of long wait on a day where they essentially had no business and I was the only one in there. My food took about a half hour or more to prepare. Still, I will be back to try other dishes. Would recommend."

Fresh and consistent. Family run, and they are very friendly and kind to customers. The bento box was awsome...the chicken was very moist and tender. The miso soup is very good with lots of nori and tofu.Food: 5/5

We placed our order directly with the restaurant and picked it up. The wait time was 30 minutes. The sushi was absolutely fantastic! The Anaconda Roll was incredible, and the Portland Headlight Roll offered a completely unique sushi experience that we loved. The service was friendly as well. View menu

We usually get two orders, and they usually do not even make it through the ride home!! I'm such a fan of her sushi roll, the Portland headlight? Small, inviting, and clean, this restaurant offers reasonable prices. The staff is friendly and attentive. The basic rolls are excellent and expertly crafted. We tried the Special Anaconda Roll, and it was delicious—sweet mango combined with savory salmon and a drizzle of sauce! We can’t wait to return soon and sample some entrees to earn that final star.

Ginza city is undoubtedly my favorite sushi spot in Portland and I have tried a lot of sushi. Their roles have the perfect combination of seafood and sauces that do not overwhelm the roles. It seems as though many places in Portland really overload the sauces and it's just too much. Ginza city seems really great pride in its food and interior design. I'm betrayed that they are no longer open to eat, but it makes total sense with covids and lack of staff. I miss eating inside because the atmosphere is so welcoming, but I'm still happy that I can enjoy her food for taking.
