"I am not sure what happened to this place. I have not been here in a couple of years but I remembered the Oxtails being decent. I got them yesterday for the first time in a while and I could not even finish them. My man got food from another popular Caribbean restaurant down the street and I refused. I just knew I was going to get some good oxtails from Island Takeaway. I was sorely mistaken. There was no flavor at all. I even had extra gravy and it did not help. Even the rice peas was lacking compared to his! I don?t know if the owners changed or the cooks changed but they need to go back to the original recipe. I had to eat an entirely different meal at home. I was highly disappointed. Gas gone, money gone, food gone! This is not the economy to be wasteful."
