"I am not sure what happened to this place. I have not been here in a couple of years but I remembered the Oxtails being decent. I got them yesterday for the first time in a while and I could not even finish them. My man got food from another popular Caribbean restaurant down the street and I refused. I just knew I was going to get some good oxtails from Island Takeaway. I was sorely mistaken. There was no flavor at all. I even had extra gravy and it did not help. Even the rice peas was lacking compared to his! I don?t know if the owners changed or the cooks changed but they need to go back to the original recipe. I had to eat an entirely different meal at home. I was highly disappointed. Gas gone, money gone, food gone! This is not the economy to be wasteful."

Worst Jamaican food. The oxtail was hard and had no taste. The rice was so fig sofy and tastes like he had no salt. The cabbage was evil.

Some of the best curry chicken I’ve ever had. My friend got the vegan brown stew which again, some of the best I’ve ever had. The cashier was super friendly as well. Highly highly highly recommend

We got the curry goat roti and oxtails. The roti was really good but the oxtails were just alright. The oxtails don?t have the flavor like typical Jamaican oxtails. The brown stew wasn?t up to par. Not was the curry chicken

When I went there and it was 7 50 pm and I asked lady that I need coughed goat and said it was all and only left oxtails and not even 10 pm and that lady working in cash and they were very rude because she was talking to the guy and ignored me... poor service and no food and it's no excuse....

Absolutely Loved It!! Have you ever bought a meal with the intention of, eating some now and saving some for later? This was one of those times for me. Some times the food is so good that you can't stop eating until its all gone. Again, this was one of this times for me. I search for good Jamaican food since I moved here, and I must say that this is one of the better ones that I've found. I had the curry chicken with cabbage, no peas and rice (skipping carbs), and now that its all gone, I halfway wish I'd gotten the peas/w rice because I can imagine how good it would taste. I also love the fast, very friendly service. I look forward to returning. Thank you
