"First, let’s talk about the parking situation. You have to pay $5 to park at the hotel, which is refundable if you stay for less than two hours. However, good luck getting served and leaving before that time is up! The restaurant wasn't busy on the weekday we visited, yet we still waited about 15 minutes to be seated.
Once seated, we took our time looking through the menus and pretty much knew what we wanted to order. However, after 20 minutes, a waiter finally approached us. He was friendly at first, but as soon as we mentioned we had a Groupon, his attitude changed dramatically. He became quite rude while explaining that Groupon customers had to choose from a different menu. He practically tossed the new menus onto our table and informed us that another waiter would take care of us.
The Groupon menu had limited options, but we did manage to decide what we wanted before the new waiter arrived. By this point, we had already been there for nearly an hour. While I was in the middle of asking the waiter a question, he rudely interrupted to inform me that the tip wasn’t included in the Groupon. Seriously? I didn’t need that reminder, and how rude to cut me off like that.
As I tried to place our order, he interrupted again, insisting that we could only do one thing at a time and that he had to bring the wine first. This was incredibly frustrating. He eventually returned with the wine and mentioned he would bring some bread shortly. While he was gone, I noticed my water glass had red lipstick on it—something I certainly wasn’t wearing.
He took a further 15 minutes to return, and by that time, my mom had to firmly remind him that we had been waiting over an hour without ordering. Despite any procedures he claimed to follow, we just wanted to place our entire order and finally have our meal.
Eventually, he did take our order and promised a clean glass of water. We waited some more, and as others who came in after us were finishing their meals, I reached my breaking point. I got up to ask for the check for the wine and bread, stating that we would be leaving to eat elsewhere since it was unacceptable that we were still waiting.
Ironically, while we were preparing to leave, our appetizer finally arrived—after a wait of over two hours. I turned to my mom and asked if she wanted to stay or leave, and she suggested we just eat since the food was finally here. We quickly finished our appetizer, but then waited another 30-40 minutes for our main courses, which were so salty that I couldn’t eat them. I asked for dessert to-go, not wanting to stay even a moment longer.
In the end, I left a $10 tip, knowing how tough the service industry can be, even if it wasn’t deserved. I should note that he never brought back a clean glass of water. The bottom line is, steer clear of this place. The service is terrible, and the food isn’t worth the hassle. The manager mentioned it was his last week, which explained why he seemed indifferent to addressing the numerous issues."
