"How did it take me so long to find this gem? Inka Mamas delivered in every category. I 'll admit, I was initially skeptical of a restaurant in a strip mall. I 'm not from the area, so I didn 't realize that it 's actually a super charming collection of shops with an early-California feel. A stately fireplace, cozy living room, gorgeous artwork, Spanish colonial architecture, and rustic tile floor give Inka Mama a warm ambiance. The friendly server guided our menu choices and said he had personally made the aji sauce and chicha morada. How cool! When we spoke Spanish (though clearly not our native language he responded in Spanish. The wine list is short, but we loved the Quest red blend from Paso Robles. Loved the food! We tried the fried yucca (great for gluten-free! with aji sauce and shared the spicy potatoes and arroz con pollo. Beautifully executed. Nothing was particularly spicy, though. Perfect date night! I almost hesitate to recommend it because I don 't want it to get crowded... but I want them to stay in business. haha. So, go to Inka Mama 's!"
