"It was a chilly and rainy afternoon, and after a 15-minute walk, I arrived at Noodles and Company, hoping to enjoy some warm, comforting food with a bit of spice. As I browsed the menu, I noticed two standout features: a variety of vegetarian options and reasonable prices. It was hard to resist the intriguing vegetarian dishes, so I ordered the Indonesian Peanut Sauté with extra tofu. Interestingly, Noodles and Company also offers American-style dishes such as sandwiches, pastas, salads, and soups.
My companion opted for the Pad Thai, and our food was served promptly. Since the location had only just opened a few days prior, we felt especially well taken care of; the manager came over personally to ensure we were satisfied, and multiple staff members checked in on us throughout our visit.
The Indonesian Peanut Sauté was fantastic. With tofu, it was nearly 1,000 calories, which I consider to be on the higher side, but the flavor was excellent. It provided the warmth and spice I craved, perfectly contrasting the dreary weather outside. I thoroughly enjoyed every bite.
Overall, I was very pleased with my first experience at Noodles and Company in a long time, and I definitely plan to return. Here’s how I would rate my experience:
- Ambiance: 8/10. The space was clean and featured a nice open floor plan; nothing too extraordinary, but pleasant.
- Service: 8.75/10. The service was attentive and friendly. My companion follows a gluten-free diet, and the staff was more than willing to explain the gluten-free options and provided a detailed menu.
- Food: 8.5/10. I loved my meal, with the spice levels and portion size being just right.
- Price: 8.5/10. The prices were quite reasonable; my dish with the extra tofu still came to under $10.
- Restroom: N/A.
Overall: 8.5/10. I left feeling happy after my first visit and hope that my future experiences will further solidify my positive impression of the restaurant, the food, and the service. For now, I would definitely recommend giving it a try!"
