"Given that it was Saturday afternoon during Super Bowl Weekend, we were shocked to see the dining room completely empty with very few staff members present. We ordered champagne, but after our water was served, our waitress informed us that the hotel had run out of champagne, which seemed suspicious. Later, after we placed our meal orders, champagne suddenly became available. However, the mimosas we received were flat, leading us to suspect that we were served old or reused champagne.
As we waited for our calamari appetizers, the waitress didn't realize they were supposed to come first and said she would bring them out with our main courses. And then it got worse. The calamari tasted rubbery and old, the turkey club sandwich was devoid of mayonnaise or any sauce, the chicken quesadilla was made with tough, old chicken, and the wings were overcooked. The tortilla soup was clumpy and overly salty. Our fries showed up just before the check, after we had finished our burgers and sandwiches.
There were six of us, and the waitress appeared confused when we requested separate checks, having to confirm each item we ordered before giving us our bill. This restaurant, if you can even call it that, is definitely not up to Marriott standards. Knowing the quality of food and service we experienced, I wouldn't even recommend staying at this hotel."
