"Stopped here with our grandson who had just graduated from an Eglin school. It was SAT afternoon around 5 and we thought it would be a nice spot for a drink and to look at the sunset. After waiting around to get seated, we took seats outside and I went inside to find someone. I found someone who brought menus out and sat them on the table and then left. After waiting another several minutes for a server, I went inside to order some drinks. The bar was pretty full, which was interesting. So I bought the almost $9 drafts, we drank them, and left. Never did see a server, and this was SAT afternoon, not a midday weekday. Guess you have to be a local to be noticed here."

I always have a great time at The Local! You have to try the smoked tuna salad sandwich - it's delicious! The service is good and the atmosphere is cozy. I usually spend between $10-20 per person for lunch. Overall, I would give The Local a rating of 4 for both the food and the service. Ver carta

We really liked this restaurant, had a great lunch. I had the burger it was fantastic my wife had the shrimp tacos they were great ad well. Hard to find but well worth the effort. It's a great spot for dinner, with prices ranging from $10 to $20 per person. The atmosphere is top-notch, with a rating of 5 out of 5. I highly recommend trying the Fried Green Tomatoes appetizer.
