This is an awesome place for both the locals and visitors. The staff is amazing and always willing to go out of their way to make sure you are enjoying yourself. The owners Scott and Kirstin are fabulous and have worked hard to make 1844 Taphouse a destination.

Best place for karaoke!!! Dj Tim makes this place fun. Owner actually comes out and interacts with the clients. Liz is our favorite bartender! She's super friendly but hilariously sarcastic too. Always have fun every time we go. Definitely will be going many times.

This has become our favorite hangout. The staff is friendly and engaging. If you love to try new beer, they are always changing out their large selection of the wide variety that they serve. Charming neighborhood bar! We recently moved to the area and stopped in for a drink while waiting for our appointment at the nail spa next door. We plan to return frequently just to relax and enjoy a drink on the patio with our dog. This could become one of our regular hangouts. We haven't tried the food yet, but everything has been great so far!

The owners treat customers poorly. I've visited several times and while the bartenders are always friendly, the owners are quite rude. It feels like they don't value my business, and I've spoken to other locals and business owners who share the same sentiment. As I was leaving, I was called some unflattering names. I won't be returning and can't recommend this place to anyone unless you enjoy being treated disrespectfully.

Great food options for a sober homie like me. The service was courteous and respectful. There was some obnoxious young lady when I went recently, she smelled horrible and was eating outside food and only came in for waters. They handled the situation with professionalism and respect for other customers. They politely offered her directions to the restroom to tidy up, and only asked her to leave once she wouldnt address her hygiene. Some of the people you get out here geez. I’ve only been once with some old friends. It’s a fun place with great staff and good service. I don’t drink, however when I am in someone’s establishment I at least show the courtesy to have soft drinks and finger food while enjoying a fun atmosphere.The individuals that are “throwing shade” in here have obviously never been there, and are attempting to “defend” their friend who tried to play the “I’m sober” card when she was asked to leave for trying to eat outside food and only asking for water.If McDonald’s won’t let you bring Taco Bell into their restaurant, why should any other place?

The owners of this restaurant are extremely rude, while the other staff members are quite friendly. I feel bad for those who have to work under such circumstances. We attended a charity bingo event there to celebrate my friend's birthday, and we tied balloons to his chair for photos. However, the owners insisted that the balloons belonged to them and demanded we take them down. One of them even said she wouldn't come into my house and move things around. Both she and her husband were very unkind. I have no intention of returning to this establishment. I regret not reporting them for defamation, as they used some offensive language towards me.

Horrible experience. The manager( the one with purple hair and one of the bartenders (long hair and beanie was very rude and aggressive. Cursing us and grabbing our drinks , drinks that we already pay for and throwing it away. Screaming us “get the F out”. This situation started when the bartender was demanding us to sit down; keep in mind that we was dancing, participating on the karaoke and consuming. Definitely the owner don’t have control over his staff , letting treat the customer like trash. The owner was present , watching , and he never intervened or a apologized to us.
